Sup. Highly considering moving to ATL from the DMV area. Obviously this depends on finding a job. However, I do have a yr worth of expenses and a functional car at the moment.

My main reason behind moving can pretty much summed up in this meme:

Right now I'm paying 1300 for a 1 bedroom in the 'burbs. City rent is 1600 for a 1 bedroom unless you thuggin it out in the hood.

Any suggestions/advice on moving to the A? I already know the traffic is horrible and summer is hot, so you can skip all that

Peaches are an added bonus

But seriously tho, I have the cheapest apartment in my building and I live in the semi ratchet suburbs. At the rate stuff is increasing I'll never be able to afford a decent place or a home without dropping a ton of cash.

Got a job offer and half of a house to live in for free for 3-6 months in the A.................... **** am I still doing in cold corny *** CT?????????? :smh: :smh: :smh:

When you guys post these rent prices, all I can do is take a second to consider myself thankful. $1300 for the "semi ratchet suburbs" :smh:

Get a better job bro. You move to ATL without a real career, expect difficulty finding a job and low paying jobs too. Sure rent cheap there, but the quality of life aint nothing like the DMV. ATL is for black hollywood. Now if you wanna live outside of ATL and somewhere nearby, I can help you with that. Georgia aint just ATL bruh

and how is quality of life better in the DMV compared to Atlanta...?

And... What's wrong with black Hollywood?

OP aint say what he would do in ATL. If he aint going to be part of black hollywood(music, movies), then there aint much reason to be there in compairson to DMV(JOBS JOBS JOBS JOBS JOBS JOBS JOBS)

Sure its expensive, but its a competive area. Work harder, do better, get a roomate, save make moves, grow up and DC will do you good.

A rack a month in my city could get you a very high-class apartment with full amenities..

This is why I can't jig with the NY and Cali cats. A city full of experience where you come home to a nike shoe box fort

Had to take the opportunity to throw some slander

In the past month, armed robbery/attempted homicide, home invasion, 2 car break ins and rims stolen.

...And that just my complex. Its 10 times worse in the complex down the street.

You got that smoke. This would be a no brainier for me. If you can land yourself a decent job down here, I'd make that move in a heart beat.

Unless you're about your business and can afford to live on the best side of the city (the neighborhoods where those 1k+/mo condos I mentioned are), you're not going to have a fun time.

Couldnt resist the chance for some NY slander is all.
