I've heard some horror stories when it comes to black frats...from the egg passing, to the cookie, etc

Part of me hopes this isn't true, but the way SOME of these cats act, I wouldn't be surprised.

Shoutout to the cats who joined a black org and are actually making moves in life tho. There's cats who just did it for the popularity and ended up 7th year seniors

What exactly is overrated about being in a frat? I had a great time and made a lot of friends and connections in my time as a fraternity brother. There's a lot to take advantage if you actively participate. And none of it involved any suspect behavior. At least not in my fraternity.
 
But this is an organization for women. That's not striving for equality, that's new age bullying and harassment.
 
On another note, am I the only one that look up when I see an AKA license plate, hoping to see a cutie pie at the wheel, but 80% of the time it'll be someone who left undergrad in the 80s?
 
Only thing I can "hate" on a frat for is homosexual activity and IMO if black folks wanna have a fraternity they shouldn't be using Greek letters. Why not use hieroglyph or something that's actually ours to properly represent. Look up the history on these frats some of the most racist **** you'll ever see

for sure.....I'm talking about the petty hate some folks seem to have 
 
I pray that AKAs don't bend to the foolishness. Why not the make a gay men frat?

Frats are cool if you use them like they should be used. You shouldn't go into it just for parties and sweetheart groupies.

i understand the appeal of it for some people, its just not my cup of tea

there's also that "im in a frat so im better than you" mentality that most frat dudes have
 
I work with two dudes in a frat at my school. Dudes are cool as hell and always bringing girls around. Have had a couple party invites from them and other benefits.
 
I think the racial views of a specific frat are more than likely tied to the location of the school. My frat isn't necessarily a white frat but it isn't historically black either. Absolutely no racial animosity for me or any of the black brother/and alumni to go through the house
