Could Nike AIR PRESSURE be returning for 2015 via NIKE SNKRS APP?

Wouldn't pay $80 for these...$300? :smh: Kids don't care for these and these will lose their luster after a week or two with those who will be lured by hype. There's no Kanye or any other celebrity to create hype for these for the fashion geeks who pay absurd resell, don't see these doing to well.

Between the Pressure's and the EQT Cushion's, there goes my monthly budget for sneakers. All within a few days span. I cannot risk the resale market on these as they are one of my grails. As long as they stay around $300, ill cop. Anything above that, then ill wait it out. Good thing i havent cop'd a release since the Supreme V's, I guess im about due for another pair of overpriced sneaks.

Same here buddy. Not gonna risk it. I figure for $300 AND you get the case, for a shoe that hasn't even been thought of for a rerelease, vs how much some of the "remastered" Jordan retros are, I'm down with these at retail. It's a shoe that wasn't even a consideration when I was young (mom got me the Black/Red IV's from the local Mom & Pop shop for $89.99) but these, at the price they were back in the day ($200) not a chance!! Now I can!!!

This is a shoe for the old heads who know what they are, and remember them, but were not able to buy them back in the day. You will get some sales strictly from sentimental value from these older sneakerheads.

Definitely, no doubt about that. Not many are willing to spend 3 bills tho just off principle alone. Many OGs are fed up with Nike's pricing these days and over the past few years.

Coming soon to a Clearence rack near you....

I'm just gonna have to hope they sit at what ever other retailers get them |I

sat back on the billy ho's when they first dropped ended up grabbing them from marshalls for $59.99 same thing will happen with these.....:pimp:

I agree with all this. These'll sit heavy. I don't even think they'll sellout on SNKRS. You'll definitely be able to find your pair at a select retailers for sure. $300 is just too much. I think these get down to as low as $120. I'll cop an 11.5 then...

I spent $260 on 40 Belows and I thought that was overpriced.

I remember how outrageously they were priced back in '89. So $300 doesn't surprise me at all. I actually entertained the thought of buying them outright on day 1. But second thoughts...

As a teenager back then, I loved the look of the subsequent Nike pump hightops much more than the Air Pressure... 180, Air Command Force. So the Air Pressure has less sentiment for me. Still...

The Japanese ad above reminded me yet again... WHAT ABOUT THE AIR FORCE STS, NIKE???

So, like was mentioned above, I think sales will be driven by nostalgia - my guess is most of the posters in this thread who are going to cop are 35+ and have some memory of the shoe.

I'm on the fence - I remember these on store shelves, but never had them (ended up with some reebok pumps back in the day - blacktops and graduated to shaq's).  The $300 price tag is such a deterrent.  I'd love to see these sit and hit some kind of price reduction, but I think they'll be pretty limited.  Tough call, really want to see if the materials and quality justify the price so I might try to cop and take advantage of Nike's awesome return policy if I'm not satisfied.

I remember these sitting hard still in the early 90's, I'd actually get these if the Sneakers app was on Android...

On second thought im good on these.

They look great- but $300?
Seriously- who is going to pay that??
In reality- I only want them to wear to fancy dress parties.

If I had to guess, these will not be made in the quantities that the Command Force was. These are even more of a niche shoe than the CF, which didn't exactly set retail on fire. No way Nike makes these in the same numbers.

I have no real knowledge of the numbers, btw. Just my hunch. Cats talking about you're gonna get them for $80 will probably be disappointed.

wow pressures? never really dug these myself. not digging the pricetag either, if they are typical retro quality. still kinda temped tho.

this. would much rather get the sts back. or the 180's w/ pumps for that matter.

wow didn't really see this release coming... pretty damn cool, not sure whether I should pick up a pair though

I definitely agree on the numbers. Logic should dictate that with the lackluster sales of the ACF (I own 5 pairs however) these should be in less abundant numbers. Nobody really can predict Nike's nonsense though. I have a few things that might happen for me this week. If they do, I'm in for a pair just to have it over and done with. If they drop in price oh well, at least i didn't have to stress and wait it out.

Unless the PU is way better, this shoe completely disintegrated. The pump casing around the ankle, midsole, and insole. I tried to wear mine in like 2000, and it literally fell apart. This shoe is to be worn unless the quality of the material is 1000 times better.

People expecting to get these on a discount might wind up heavily disappointed.

As others have said, these are a super niche sneaker with a cult following.

This is the perfect type of sneaker to release in very limited quantities to stir the pot and generate a bit of hype for the brand as we dive into 2016.

I can see people buying these solely for collection purposes to display in their case.

Personally I can't wait to get these in hand and get a nice burst of nostalgia.

Couldn't agree more buddy. People think these will sit & can snag for cheap later? Think again. I'm one of those who will buy them if I can find them in store somewhere close (cause stupid SNKRS app isn't on Android). Hope they are on regular NDC for us No -Apple owners. Totally nostalgia for me, but now I can get them. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Yeh man the more and more I think about it .....these will probably not sit.  Torn on the price tag but more than likely ...IF they release on other sites/retailers I think they will be a must for me.  Android user here so snkrs is out.....I shall late fate decide.

I'm hoping either SNS or End get these along with a few shops in the US (Ubiq is a 30 minute drive to Philly for me). But in all seriousness, Nike has to get off the Apple bandwagon. Smartphones are like 75-80% Android now. Guess Nike still thinks they owe Apple for partnering with the Nike+ app with the shoes & chip that came out back then.
