Could Nike AIR PRESSURE be returning for 2015 via NIKE SNKRS APP?

People expecting to get these on a discount might wind up heavily disappointed.

As others have said, these are a super niche sneaker with a cult following.

This is the perfect type of sneaker to release in very limited quantities to stir the pot and generate a bit of hype for the brand as we dive into 2016.

I can see people buying these solely for collection purposes to display in their case.

Personally I can't wait to get these in hand and get a nice burst of nostalgia.
I disagree. I remember when people were saying the same thing about the command forces. That they would only be limited to 2000 pairs and whatnot. THey ended up at the outlets for as low as 49.99 in huge quantities. I think the same principle will apply here.  As I like to tell everyone , every nike retro eventually ends up going on deep discount.

I never liked these as a kid, because I didn't like high tops and these are like 40 belows.

If I could get them for $100

When the command forces came out did they release on the app as well?  I don't remember.  I do remember I felt that I would be able to get a pair if I wanted to.  I did not foresee them going on disco though.  Kids are not really rocking high tops these days.

I'm aware of what happened with the Command Forces, it wasn't that long ago.

Those were produced in extremely high numbers and given a full retro run with multiple colorways.

It remains to be seen how Nike will handle the Air Pressure.

If produced in low enough numbers, they will be gobbled up quickly.

Only time will tell.

Not sure if you guys were aware, there was a 50 pairs (numbered on the inside of the tongue) limited version of the ACF emerald/jade which was released only in China.
See pics here :

At the time of its release prices were going around $2K on the resale market in China.
Eventually as I understand the same colorway got released as a GR and I'm quite sure those who paid those kinds of prices would have been mad pissed.

Really wanted these growing up, but looking at this $300 price I have the same feelings/responses that my parents gave me back then, when I asked for them. Amazing how that has come full circle.

So true man.  I'm looking at that $300 and thinking that I could get 2-3 pairs of kicks I've been eyeing for a few months.

Not sure I can do $300 MSRP for any sneaker.
My wife would FREAK.

I think this helps illustrate exactly how sensitive demand is when it comes to production numbers, especially with today's sneaker consumer.

Why are you assuming that the CF were made in EXTREMELY high numbers???

Thats what kills me these days...if a shoe sells out its cause it was limited....

If it sits its cause it was MASS produced....

CF were not MASS produced...the kids just didnt bite...and when the price started to drop they waited until it bottomed out.......it happens.....(Lebron 12 and 13's still havent bottomed out)

TRUST....at $300 retail....and specifically targeting the "I rememba those crowd" these damn things will sit too....

So again....wake me up when they hit the clearance rack cause Im all in....

I hope you are right about that.  Would love to get these at at clearance.  Guess we will find out on Thursday just how much folks want them.  Again I believe these days kids are not into high tops.

Yes. I definitely don't think that the ACF's were in MASSSSSS quantities, but they weren't limited either. Only 2 stores in GSP here got them (HoH and FTA) so while widely available online, instore was a bit of a different story. Not everyone lives near an Eblens, Jimmy Jazz, DTLR, etc. And yes...the young guns did NOT bite, even the nostalgia crowd didn't bite at $200 initially.

Now because these are in true OG form with the case and hand pump, that might be enough for some to bite upon release (I will if I can and I don't care), but because the Command's sold how they sold, I would assume that numbers on these are lower than those, but that is pure conjecture on my part of course. Have to wait and see once Thursday comes. I would rather find a brick and mortar retailer and try on than cop off SNKRS. ACF pinky toe feels anyone??

These were widely available throughout the US in-store and on almost every sneaker e-commerce site in multiple size runs.

If I'm able to purchase 4 pairs of a sneakers at a particular store and not put a dent in their inventory, that's mass produced.

If I'm able to go to a Nike outlet and see racks fully stocked from top to bottom with multiple size runs, that's mass produced.

If you're implying that this was the point I was making on sneakers as a whole, then you're mistaken.

Im with you man.....

I copped the Hoyles two weeks before release date on END for $10 bucks below retail and free ship....I felt like I stole something!!!

After I saw them go on sale...then on sale....then hit the outlets...then on sale some more....Im like damn....Im just gonna wait this out...

$34.99 in my local outlet.....and Im still hunting the rest...

I wouldnt be surprise if these "Disappear" from Snkrs fairly quickly...but brick and mortar is a whole nuttha animal....espcially at $300 RETAIL....

DAMN $300 RETAIL????? Im typing that and think damn.....remember when people were *****ING about CDPS costing $305?????? and that was for TWO PAIRS of kicks....

Now...kids is lining up to give Nike there money....

:smh:

What you are missing homie....and Im not sure where you are from...is the WORLD is MUCH bigger then where YOU live....

Im in NYC....I can get my hands on ANYTHING.....All I need to do is walk around this city and I can see just about EVERY sneaker in decent to awesome size runs in more then one retailer.....and thats EVERY sneaker.....

Now.. yes...for some kicks its release day only....but the MAJORITY...it doesnt matter...cause its NYC....or call it Tri-state area.....cause ask my dude @alp have car will travel

With that being said....Just cause NYC looks like that dont mean that Butt-Back, Alabama looks like that.....that would be a false assumption.

To my man dc30 dc30 point CF were not EVERYWHERE...If Nike stores still had levels it would be a Tier Zero or what they call now a NSW launch.....Similar to the Air Cruz.....In no way MASS produced...but limited...

Again....your perception is only your perception not everyones....

Kids these days hate high tops lol.

just another reason that generation sucks then

all they are into is hype anyway, and will follow where ever the winds blow. it stopped being about the shoes themselves a long time ago.

so initial release is only snkrs app?  will retailers be getting these or no?  i want either the class of 97 pack or these depends though
