They could have sent the pairs to europe or asia where demand is higher and also swoosh employees buying these for the low low.

I'm glad that most of the people who really wanted them, were able to get them with the exception of the size 12-14 heads which were unfortunately super hard to get.

I have seen Nike take down product only to put it back up at a later date. I couldn't tell you the reasoning behind this.

Create a buzz? Make people think they were limited and then "restock". Obviously this trick isn't for those who were watching the shoe and know it didn't sell out.

I just heard from a friend that they sold out. Said she called Nike they they told her they sold out and if there were any returns they would put them up. Told her to check back in two weeks.

I agree that this has indeed been a very strange release.
I don't even care if these eventually wind up in outlets.

Got my pressures in today.. They look a and feel great. Unfortunately they're a bit big. With them already being crease monsters I'm worried about wearing them. Might have to do the duck walk to keep em looking crispy lol

300 euro, 26-7 year old design, and not too convinced high tops sell that well this side of the Atlantic.
Plus it's just after Xmas.... Europe's economy is not doing too well either.
I don't think there's much demand for these in Europe.

Your logic is reasonable- yet these legitimately sold out at Nike Europe in all but small sizes.
As stated in a previous post- this may have to Dorothy europe receiving less stock.
Traditionally, Europe has been seen as a 'runners' market as opposed to bball- yet these were part of an iconic era- when nike was pushing hard and making inroads into euro market for first time.

Well finally got mines in after that horrendous wait. First impressions are that they are crazy cool. I won't lie and say that I have any connection to these because I don't. I was already born lol and hadn't ever really seen these until the last few years. Being a nostalgic 90s lover and the fact I probably won't get a chance at this years MAGS made these a must cop.
View media item 1877442The box is obviously huge. One of the 1st things I noticed was the information sticker wasn't place properly as you can see in the middle of the sticker isn't fully pressed down(which isn't a big deal) however the msrp sticker is pretty much ripped off.
View media item 1877446Here's everything minus the box sleeve(not pictured) the tag, box strap, shoe tag and information booklet all come in a zip lock bag. One thing that caught my eye was the frosted outter cover on the booklet, a really nice touch imo.

There are a few specks of something right on the toe which will surely come off but to the left of it there looks like some sort of stain on the leather. I haven't unwrapped the shoes yet but did notice something. Also on the back of 1 there seems to be a little spot of something yellow that's like you get when shoes are old but who knows?
