The Town or The Departed vol. bawstin

Leo did great in Departed but everything else about the movie sucks so bad
Jack

Matt's character panicking near the end and thinking he made it

Vera Farmiga  :pimp:

You're crazy.

The Town is by far my favorite Ben Affleck movie and was pretty great but the Departed might just be my favorite Boston based movie. Doesn't get much better than Leo+Damon+Jack and Scorcesse :smokin.

Marky mark?
With the minimal role

Renner isn't even a good actor
too far
He isn't.

I learned my lessons watching that Mission Impossible movie he was in and The Bourne Legacy.

He was just good enough not to take away from the other performances in American Hustle.

Let me find out there's a secret sect of Renner lovers on NT  :nerd:

He was good in The Hurt Locker.
Strange. I saw that movie at least twice. Don't even remember him in it.

^^^ lmfao at that kids school picture no damns given

I saw the town years ago once, I'd go departed since its one of my favs

Infernal Affairs >

the movie (trilogy) departed is based on

watch it if you haven't.

departed is still good tho.

I think I liked The Departed better. I liked the humor in it. I need to watch IA again since I barely remember it. I remember not liking the sequel though.

I think that you guys are just saying the departed is better just off the list of actors not even the story,

Stans.

Departeds story line was based off ****** bulger. They probably tweaked it because that's what Hollywood does, but it brought more realistic moments and stories. And if your going to make a flicc titled "the town" it should be about Oakland.

If you think The Town is better than The Departed, you are clearly high, and need to sober up

No.

It literally has a better story than The Town.

Undercover cop posing as a gangster vs. Undercover rat that's a cop. That alone is a good story. Then they dive deep in to some of the ramifications it has for Leo's character. Then the little twist for Jack's character and who he's actually working for. Then the multiple twist climactic ending.

Compared to some criminals pulling off a wild bank robbery with a look at some of their personal lives and friendship with each other that plays a part in how things end.
Heat or the town?

Val Kilmers og triple og status in heat >
The Town

Heat is overrated like crazy on here.

It's not like it was an original story tho. Movie was a remake.

And The Town was adapted from a novel.

I'm not saying the movie was original or that story is/was new. I'm saying it's not just cuz of the cast that ppl are picking The Departed. The story is also why it's better than The Town (which is why I broke down some of the story elements).

Ok who you think is better Robert DeNiro or Al Pachino. I'm gonna say Al Pachino only because I like more of his movies.
