Jordan XI '72-10' Release Date: 12/12/15

I'm personally not a fan of the Gammas, but I really like the 72-10s...apart from the glittery patent leather. 
 
It's Cool if you think Gamma 11's is better but it doesn't need to be said over and over again just because you notice that people like this shoe :lol:

I can't totally tell just based off the pics, but is the patent leather clear? And is that the tumbled upper showing through it that makes that textured look?
 
Man the more and more I see this pics the less and less I like. Seriously considering bypassing these and I was so excited to finally go Kraven on a XI release.

The first pics of these XIs make me really dislike them, but I will admit that after seeing the new pics I changed my mind about them. I will be adding them to my XI collection.
 
The outsole has always been such a cool part of the XI's, making them all white to basically form 1 large outsole with the midsole is not the best look in my opinion. I love XI's, and the upper on these is OK, but the iridescent patent mixed with the totally white bottom half is where I think they sort of missed. The patent isn't the worseIf the sole had some type of color (I don't know what'd like best. Smoky? Clearish? Blueish? Black? Etc?) I think they'd look a lot better.

I think had the leather been on the heel and the nubuck or whatever the hell the heel material actually is was on the rest of the shoe; these would be a whole lot better. The patent leather and sole are fine. Any pics surface yet of them "glowing" since the sole is said to do so?

that would be just like the CGs then, this seperates them from other releases. Those new on feet pics with the guy with the camo pants makes them look less appealing with the glittery purple PL, with 220+ tax on the line i might just sleep in. we need better pics in light and such
 
Did anyone else hear that these will have a glow in the dark sole? From the pictures it looks like the soles are glow in the dark. They don't have an icy color. Or even clean. Kind of light lime yellow color.
 
I will admit, I used to be all over the gamma 11's and eventually got them from a seller here on NT. I liked them a lot, but after wearing them a few times and these being that these were my first Jordan 11's since the black/red pair in 2001, I noticed how cheap they looked and how stiff the collar area was. Then I realized how much I didn't care for them and sold them for $260 to a local dude. I guess I liked them because of them being a all black shoe, but those are probably the worst colorway of the 11's by far.

As quick as this year has been flying these will be here in no time. They're not bad, there's always hesitation with a new colorway. Not all CWs are for everyone, we all have our own taste. A lot of ppl didn't like Gammas all the way up until they came out, then liked them in person.. Some still didn't. But pics usually don't give you a real feel of how they look in person.. It seems even more so with a black/mixed textured CW. I'm sure I'll end up with at least one pair to judge them in person. I will def be ready when Jams and Cords drop again, kind of scary to imagine what the price point will be in the next few years tho.
 
Dude several post above hit the bullseye!

gammas are so uninspired. I will cop at some point to round out the XI collection but, they were "laney inspired"

and did not even have the same blue as the Laney V. They remind me of some kinda poorly executed black legend blues [emoji]128565[/emoji]

they are the weakest imo, by far of non og color ways

Plan on going after 72-10 the day of release.
