Disappointed in the outsole but the new pics look great and the quality looks decent. I'm not fooled by that leather either.

Something about them is off/weird not sure maybe it's the leather and the felt material that doesn't mesh well.

That's what I've been saying. It is what it is, but it's clearly (no pun intended) clear plastic and not patent leather. Unless it's some type of see-thru patent I know nothing about. Or could it be like a patent leather with like a graphic on it? Either way, it's still an XI, people will die and kill over it, and the XI itself is a dope silhouette. I'm just not a fan of that choice or the totally white mid and outsole put together. But a decent kick.

True. I am curious as to how the outsole ages. The one thing I always loved about the Black/Reds is that they basically stay the same forever, minus the affects from wear and tear. I wonder if this sole yellows or what.

I think the lace tips idea is great and should be used for future 11 releases. The concept of the shoe with it being 72-10 should have been the all red Melo pair or something different. These are okay but I don't see them rising in the ranks for 11s or even Jordans for that matter. Once we move on after a year or two people will forget these quick. Unless that glow sole looks bonkers with these.

Exactly...isn't that ironic tho lol hype beast/resellers/the YOUNG generations...etc. THEY need to understand to buy what you like and NOT what everyone else is doing, but no matter how many times you say this THEY still find another outlet to lie to themselves of another reasoning to justify THEIR actions lol....like sayings like "oh I'm addicted" , "oh I need to stop-this is it after this one" , "this is only away for me to flip for more shoes" , or the one thing I find really funny is the people who are on Instagram or YOUTube stating I will slow down this year and start man-ing up to responsibilities etc. -BS-BS- . . . And still they continue to over buy shoes in their own closet/sn asker room. well hopefully this will be like how card collecting was and this will die down, coz its rediculouse these days on how we buy shoes; humans vs humans, humans vs early links, early links vs bots vs humans, humans vs bots, bots vs bots, super bots vs bots, etc what's next lol??? ..... Now it seems they only way or the best bot is a footlocker connect......lol oh well I guess I can't hate on what's going on in this shoe game these days. I have yet to see a patent leather XI that doesn't look good with a solid black backdrop. Those pics are sweet, but earlier on feet pics are still "meh..." and I really am not feeling the tumbled look on the patent leather.
Expect me to nitpick the hell out of this shoe with my own opinions. It's not a terrible shoe, but for 220 and what this shoe represents, I expect more. Still undecided on this thus far.
