You would be surprised how people's emotions come out at these events. It's a pride thing to a lot if they miss out. That's why they started this raffle **** honestly. Even at a GR at my mall folks still act up and security got fed up of having to constantly be present so boom raffle for every release.
 
Some time in the future 11s will hit a price so high that they may sit. Nike will try to justify (trick us) the price with "premium" materials or by hyping them with some leaks or saying that there will be too limited to buy. But for most of us as long as you get a bunch of raffle tickets, plug, 30 tabs on footsites you'll cop. Then you'll feel frustrated that it took all this work for some shoes.

or another BS story to push the product. Honestly all I need are just doubles on the OG colors and I'm good on 11s for life. Wait til the DB 11s drop internet going to be shut down couple months.

yeah just because of those reason is that this year's 11s will be my last kicks for the rest of my life. Kicks have taken more of my money than there really worth. I wonder if the Chinese workers think we're idoits for buying this crap

I know right when you look at these consignment shops posting buy outs of people that threw the towel in cashed out and retired. I makes you think how much longer with the madness. The workers like 2 Hundred Dolla Do You Know What I Could Accomplish With That a years grocery, more livestock maybe a house. Having the all years 11s drops in cash over there and your basically a rich poor bill gates.

I'm in Chicago and have copped more then a few releases and this my friend just isn't true. Do we have knuckleheads on BS? Sure most places do but it's not this extreme. Example I have legend blue 11 Pantone 11 hare 7 bred/playoff 11 (just SOME purchases) ALL purchased in CHICAGO at an actual store not online. Not here to throw shade or anything (I barely post) just want to shine some light on the facts is all.
 
You guys just now finding out about the $220 price tag? Had to of at least seen it coming.

Now people are saying these are going to be $220...?  Is it a ploy to get people to buy/not buy early pairs with incorrect/correct box tags...?

But the Maroon 6's are $220, as soon as I heard that I assumed these would be at least that

That's why a lot of us were kind of shocked to see this 2 months ago:

$210, $220 doesn't matter.....some of the same folks complaining will happily pay $300+ on release date.....i might be wrong, but doubt it
 
I'm happy when JB raises prices. Resell has been down, except for limited stuff. so if I miss or don't cop on RD I know I don't have to pay crazy resell prices later.
