apparently $210 is the "global" price, and North America price is $220

Getting played, hmm yea could be. But for every one person that moves on from Js, 5 more youngins start up with it because their elders were buyin kicks and it's what they see...plus the Internet is the ultimate a hype man...
could be....but young folk (and some old heads) completely follow what these celebs do..lol...imo, as long as the celebs rock them they'll stay hot.

I haven't dealt with crazyness for 11s since the Concords. Every 11 since has been smooth for me. Jus getting enough raffle tickets usually works out...

Is that dollar sign next to the 210 global too?

Nah that's American as well
@j23app  means that the 'global' price of $210 is how it's converted to United States dollar in other countries based on the exchange rate.

For example with today's current exchange rate,

$210USD = €196.79EUR = C$278.99 (Canadian) = £139.06 (British Pound)  = $289 (Australian)

$220USD = €206.16EUR = C$292.28 (Canadian) = £145.68 (British Pound) = $302 (Australian).

Also, the United States isn't the only country in the world that uses the '$' as its currency symbol.

These glittery joints just don't do it for me. I'll take my $220+tax (or ~$340 resell) and cop a pair of fresh retros. SBB 1s or some 3s instead.

Stupid question but if the Warriors beat the 72-10 record then that record will not be the most historic season as indicated behind the tongue?

I was thinking about this today too. But the Warriors can't beat 72-10 by the 19th so technically it will still be the historic season wheb they drop. I don't think Nike/JB could have predicted the Warriors starting out in mid-season form.

In my opinion, GSW need to win the title if they do beat the 72-10 regular season record while having at least an 83.33% winning percentage record in the playoffs.

The team also needs someone to win the regular season MVP, all-star game MVP, 6th man of the year, and coach of the year to be considered the most historic season ever.

With the way they've been playing lately, anything is possible.

Yeah. But if the Warriors beat the 72-10 by the end of the season then Bulls 72-10 is not the most historic season. And I think the "most historic season" is only referring to the regular season of the 96 Bulls.

Yeah but I believe the "most historic season" is only referring to the regular season record which most people think is unbeatable. Just my opinion.

If they lose 11 games then they won't, they've been playing excellently starting out but you never know what might happen over the course of the season. Wish them the best of luck though.

If the Bulls didn't win the title in 1996, then no one would be calling their season the most historic.  It would be labeled as the most disappointing.  Look at the 2007 Patriots, they went undefeated up until the Super Bowl, and lost.  People don't talk about how the Patriots went unbeaten, they talk about how they lost.

Jordan winning the MVP for the regular season, and all-star MVP, along with Kukoc winning 6th man of the year, Phil's coach of the year, all solidified how historic the season was by sweeping the major regular season awards, AND winning the championship.

Sure, the Warriors are on a pace to have more than 72 wins in a season, but if you don't win the championship, the season was a bust, and that's how history would remember them as.

Ask any player, they would rather have the ring than any other record.

Second place is 1st loser.

Agreed.

But Payton won Defensive Player of the Year in 1996 and Damon Stoudamire was Rookie of the Year.

Ok then how is it $210 globally and $220 North American? That doesn't make any sense. I understand the exchange rate but $210 & $220 are different prices no matter how you break it down

Even though it makes no sense to have different prices with the US and 'globally', my only guess would be packaging costs.  Hopefully it doesn't happen to the international consumers, but maybe the price difference (IF TRUE) is because the 72-10s will come in the standard 30th anniversary box, instead of the drawer type.

Although if this were the case, the Chicago 1s should have costed less in Europe since those came in the 30th anniversary box rather than the OG Nike box.  But that could also mean that the cost is the same for the Nike Air box and the Anniversary box...

I mean, wasn't that why the 2012 Playoffs 11s came in the Black/White Jumpman flip top box? And the reasoning was to keep the price "low"?

This is highly unlikely of course and just pure speculation.  The Legend Blue 11s last year (from what I know) all came in the drawer box in Men's sizes all over the world, while GS came in the standard flip top box.

I'm just going off of what was reported by @j23app IG post,  and regardless of what the final retail price will be across the world, hopefully those that want these can score a pair.

For me, I know it's no deal. I see what JB doing. It's smart. Why not get that money that was being left on the table. But for me, I can choose to skip releases and go back later and cop for "retail" or near with no worries. I may be a sheep for liking it but kicks is what I like to buy and not having to haggle with these kids out here tryna flip GRs for big bucks is a plus in my book...but that's me

Exactly my point. If I can pay $200-$250 (retail $170-$190) months later versus $275-$350 maybe even $400 (retail $160-$185) for a GR then that is a savings out of my pocket. If JB is getting a bigger peice of the pie (the margin between retail and resell) then we can agree that's a good business move by them.

As far as sheep go fam, Nike, JB, Addidas etc. got everyone in NT and millions more worldwide. If you took every $ spent since you started copping and invested properly, w/ compound interest etc.....you get the point.

Some stay thirsty, I to stay woke.
