Jordan XI '72-10' Release Date: 12/12/15

Went out to see the chrome8s in person today .
They have the 72-10 XIs behind counter, checked em over, quality pretty nice on em. Patent seems like its cut higher than usual. The sparkle isnt too bad, but still overkill for my taste. Didnt mind midsoles on Aquas, being its only a small section, but with 72-10 XIs roughly half the shoe is covered in it.
Still a pass for me, but overall quality seemed decent.

my store ran out of tickets last year. 567 entries for 27 pairs lmao and that was just mens

I thought I was gonna be able to hit up Fnl raffles Monday but I was told that I may need to come in and train Monday morning and still have to go to my current job in the afternoon. [emoji]128553[/emoji]

True, I don't get this either. Everything else they put out they tried, but they didn't do anything to the XI to remaster the jumpman or patent leather cut.
 
Yea it's like earlier this year they sat down to discuss what changes to make to the remastered 11s and then some dude was like "Yo!" and convinced everyone to just reuse the same mold and not change anything at all. His point was that they'd still sell out regardless and they can use the time and money saved to get wasted instead. Whilst wasted they ok'd pro star 5s

I am in the minority, but I really dig the Pro Star 5s. I think it was a shoe concept that released a few years too late. If this shoe would have released circa '09 - '12, it would have been a problem! That occasionally happens with JB. Just like the mocha 3s, Laney 5s, Oreo 6s, Olive 9s originally released. They released at the wrong time or were ahead of their time, and people where either not feeling them at the time, or they weren't getting the concept.

TBH,I used his pic to reference quality,because I hadn't picked up my 11 pair.the multiple pic was when I took actual pics.didnt know ppl were like that.so yeah the close up pic is baby j and multiple pic is mine.Thats a tough pick between the 72s and hoverboard.i would take hoverboard and a few jerseys if I were a kid.

Shoes look pretty dope. Showed the wife and wants a pair since she loves her bred lows. It'll be easy to get my daughter a pair since she is a 7c. However! Trips to the mall for the raffle will be work but hey. Typical 11 release. #Teamretail
 
I saw these in person and tried them on for the first time today. These are dope. Allocations will be plentiful in the DMV, but some of the usual suspects will be the usual suspects and some of them won't have as many as you think.
 
look like they used composite leather like the basketballs lol. guess not used to seeing the XIs with that type of material
