Jordan XI '72-10' Release Date: 12/12/15

Here's the thing, if you're next paycheck ain't comin' til the 18th...you pretty much SOL....

unless of course Shoe Palace saves the day and decides to maintain their course and drop on the 19th.

I already said that bruh. You must've read my earlier comment and agreed with it
We both on the same page bro.

This is what I was told from Campus folks and why I said it had nothing to do with Kanye

Adidas has to worry about Adidas before Nike even thinks about worrying about Adidas.

True dat. Nike don't give a flyin' you-know-what about Adidas and vice versa.

But peep Nike's game and how they're able to find ways to make sure their product is selling.

Nike announces 12/19 release date although they've known all along they were gonna drop on the 12th. Consumers, not knowing this, go out and cop the Maroon 6s. Even though the 6s don't sell out instantly, Nike still capitalizes because of the $220 price point. Now people are in a dilemma - do they keep the 6s they just purchased and cop the 11s? Or do they go through the hassle of returning their 6s, knowing it will take at least 7-10 days for their credit card to be credited the funds back?

I can almost guarantee had people known that the 11s were releasing on the 12th, the total numbers of pairs sold for the 6s would've been reduced by more than 50%.

Hard to imagine that people's line of credit on a credit card is that low. Living paycheck to paycheck to buy sneakers is not the way to go

Are people really complaining that the release date was changed to a week earlier? That's why u should stack your bread for a rainy day...

The client base of Jordan's is not a large % corporate dudes, professionals, etc. People more worried about kicks than feeding their family sometimes. Unfortunate but true.

Brokebois and their $300 credit card limit's with $50 in the checking account. If you're worried about not having $240 for a pair of shoes by the weekend you need to switch up your priorities.

The pay after delivery option works on some sites with PayPal and allows the money to be taken out 14 days later... Enough time for a new check

Agreed. Fortunately for me, I have a budget of $1000 to get me a couple pairs, my sweetie a pair, and my little boy one as well. I passed on the 6s because I knew they'd be widely available. I was able to exchange an extra pair of MTM 7s for Aqua 8s. And I copped the Bred 1.5s for basically nothing.

I'm already saving up for twp pair each of the WC 4s, Dunk From Above 4s, Alternate '89 4s, and the Wing It 2s coming up in 2016.

I bet Craigslist is super busy right now with paycheck-to-paycheckers tryin' to unload unwanted retro's in order to recycle for new J's.

This.

Haven't resellers and consumers learned from the Legend Blue release.

Holiday releases are mass produced.

Stop giving these pre-order sites your money and take your *** to the mall for a ticket and just get on your computer and TRY!

I was burned at the stake last year for saying that. But I agree 100%.

Believe it or not, there are a ton of people who have this problem. I was one of them 12 years ago. Filed for BK after having $50K in credit card debt on a $60K annual salary. Now I make almost triple that and am completely mindful of the mantra "Mo' Money, Mo' Problems."

I'm a lot wiser now and have trimmed my sneaker collection from 250 pairs down to about 50, with my sole concentration on investing my hard earned dough on such things as real estate, land, and hitting my bonuses/incentives every month. I used to have 7 credit cards with crazy credit limits over a decade ago. I used to go to the casino with $1-3K in m pocket once a week and used my winnings and credit to feed my sneaker addiction. Now, I only have two credit cards, I don't cop every pair of J's that release, and I hit the casino only 4 times a year. Took a lot of discipline, but having a some mouths to feed other than myself helped changed my perception real fast.
