Speculation on my part. But Adidas is chasing Nike and trying to have the Yeezy on the same level as the retro Jordan's. Forget total sales, think about Adidas building this brand. They have zero to lose in going up against Nike's halo product line for the past 20-30 years. Nike switching the dates is in response to Adidas, but also to through a wildcard in their releases since 5 haven't been hyped, with most still available for purchase weeks after they released.

I'm curious how this all plays out, I think Nike manages this release to 'sell out', and try's or does reset the hype.
 
I mean consistently. If you can't see the difference between yeezys and Sean and the of those than there's no reason to talk to you. Anything yay put his name on sell. Even when he was selling 1000 nike. Those others can't and don't do that. He's Jordan nearest comp like or not.
 
 *Disclaimer* I don't believe this */end Disclaimer*  I went to fill out raffles tonight and I talked to my guy at Champs who I would consider an acquaintance, he said corporate told him they moved up the release of the 11 because the 750 is releasing on the 19th. 

 So I guess people up in corporate are believing this ridiculous lie lol.

He's not the number 2 though, Sketchers is. If you mean in terms of hype in our little sneaker head world than yes, he is number 2. In terms of sales Sketchers is NIke's closest competitor.

I'm not young either.
 
Wow, just realized that the dude at Finishline didn't give us the long part of the raffle ticket like in dude's pic above, we wrote our names/numbers on the small part with the number and gave them to him.

Prolly not a big deal cuz if they call they'll just ask for ID, but just realized that haha.

i get ya drift, but you know folks aint trying to hear nothing like that about jordan in here...he is damn near a father figure to some folks in here, if not more.
