Jordan XI '72-10' Release Date: 12/12/15

I think anyone who spends $220+tax on this basic azzz color way with the iridescent crap is absolutely crazy or is a slave to JB. These 11s don't look that good at all even in theory. JB just knows you all will buy because its the most popular Jordan silhouette . Them Gammas were "okay", but these are just plain trash.

It's just a photo with the color taken out because the blogs don't know the color placement of the 72-10.

The only 11s Ive bought are the Cool Greys and Spacejams back in 2009-10. I though the gammas were bad and not worth 185 or whatever they cost, but paying 220 for these pieces of trash is much worse.

once we get pics the TURN will  be strong on this one.....it's only March, plenty of time to get that extra twenty spot ready!!

And no more Jordan 11 icy soles for me. I never wore my 2011 Jordan "Concords" and I just looked at them the other day after keeping them in the box since 2011 when they released and they had brown on the bottom. I will most definitely pass on these being they aren't OG and the sole is icy.

Nike would never do this cause it would be a serious drop in demand. Most of the people who buy Jordan's just to fit in would not exist, Nike would have a hard time selling other shoes, and it wouldn't be new color ways for a while cause they would keep having the OG's being ordered on demand.

$200 a pair would be great too but over time Nike would lose so much money behind that idea.
Yep, despite what people on here think-retros are a SMALL part of Nike's overall revenue... Yes they are very important in keeping the brand (specifically Jordan Brand) alive but it is obvious they are sold primarily for marketing/image/lifestyle/fashion purposes since they have little to no performance value (in terms of athletic usage) anymore, especially with earlier Js.

I think making them readily available would completely ruin their "cool" factor-yes, people who actually like the shoe would finally easily be able to attain it but it was never about selling a ton of shoes. Retros help keep the brand name strong, plus think about all the people who couldn't get the retros who end up buying some other Jordan brand shoes or the people who buy Nike/JB outfits to go with their new retros.
