One day pass to Disney, now over $100.

$105 for a one day pass? Does it come with free food?

Hell, I went to cedar point and it was $50. If my cousin who's a teacher didn't have the hook up for $15 one day pass I would have felt ripped off.

I go to Disneyland twice a year every year. Going to get an annual pass this year. I love it :pimp:

It's funny that the same people who complain about spending 100 for one day in a Disney park spend more than that on one ticket to a sporting event which last a few hours.

For the last 2 years we've had premium annual passes, my daughter is such a princess.

We didn't get it this year, even with the price hike, still planning to get the annual passes again - just to see how excited my daughter gets.

sidenote: I can't stand disney and all the geeks, we would only go for a couple hours.

How is that funny? Clearly those folks think the sporting event is worth it and Disney isn't.

The parks don't do it for me. The times I've been its because it was free. I went to seaworld and saw the whale show like a week ago which was dope, and I saw Boyz II Men at the food and wine festival last month.

Disney sucks for adults, but the kids will always love it.

Sums it up nicely. Only reason I'll ever go as an adult is because my wife wants my daughter to go. Unfortunately that time is coming way too $oon. :smh: :smh:

So. Much. Money. Wasted.

It's also funny how one is unlike the other....but keep trying to move the goalposts to fit your false equivalency narrative.

its probably easier to not even expose kids to disney things, so they won't really know what it is and want to go to Disney theme park

That moment when you hear "Minnie Mouse" from the car seat when you know the only channel you let your kid watch is PBS kids.

Disney is EVERYWHERE. Even if you try to not expose your kid to it, the same can't be said for other parents who don't feel the same way as you do. Trust me...I held off on Disney for as long as I could w/ my daughter, but you gotta pick your battles at the end of the day.

even as a kid I hated that place, the rides were slow and boring. I don't want to take pictures with an overgrown mouse. I just kept a stone face the entire time.

I've always been a speed/adventure junkie tho....which is not disney's MO.

i agree

as i kid back in 99 when i was like 12 i think in 6th grade i was like "so this is disney world?"

its overrated, universal i had a great time

I've had a pass to Disneyland for the last 6 years and we just renewed after the price hike. First year we have had blackout dates (Christmas/New Years time). The price hikes didn't phase anyone in terms of their passes and willingness to go - Disney will win in the end and everyone will pay what they ask for. Their experience, their employees/service is above and beyond like no other.

Bright Nikes you're gonna say Disney Land is awesome I've been to many parks

I thought Busch Gardens was better Srs

Just looked for teacher discounts, went from a whole lot, to a lot. I might just pass man. LOL

i can see why the price hike .. they are constantly adding new attractions and making the park bigger (new fantasyland). also what other park besides magic kingdom allows you to be in the park for as much as 15+ hours ?

animal kingdom is building a new avatar world and they are finally going to add a finally show sorta like wishes fireworks and fantasmic :pimp: :pimp:

Oh well. I'm not going everyday. You make a trip out there once every few years. It's worth it to me to see my kids enjoy it.

It's awesome because I have a 3y/o daughter who is infatuated with Disney Princesses, so seeing her joy makes me happy.

I do get it though, the nostalgia of going to Disney parks, the employees are top notch friendly and helpful in comparison to a majority of the theme parks I've been too.

I do get a good chuckle seeing regular folks with no kids go, but then again like I said ... I get it .. the nostalgia feeling like a kid again and such.
