You're hanging out with a group of people, when suddenly...

Shut up, Superb. At this point it doesn't even matter if I agree with you. Just cease talking.

I probably wouldn't do anything. I know people who have similar things that aren't racist. They collect historical objects.

My G, 2 men take you to a garage and you worried about racist symbols? Any other dude would be worried about getting them cheeks clapped, fam

One of the people decides to show you something cool in their garage, like a pool table, a boat, a painting they're working on, etc. But as you're down there checking that stuff out, you see a item that carries a racist connotation. It could be a swastika, a confederate flag, etc. The person has no idea you saw it and you doubt they realize it was there. However, you're in their friend's home.

What do you do?

a confederate flag is not a symbol of racisim....

Chill bruh. I never said this was based on actual events. Just answer da hypothetical question posed.

I lived in the south, so i've seen and hung out with dudes that rock the confederate flag and didn't feel hated or threatened, but I know the conversation is different when black folks aren't around.

Ehh the confederate flag would lead me to believe dude has some southern roots... As far as the nazi stuff id prolly ask, could be part of a racist mindset or could just be war trophies his gramps brought back. If dude looks like a neo-nazi i prolly wouldnt have went in the garage to begin with tho.

Live in VA currently, and this is exactly how I feel.

Well exactly what do you want to happen? Make a fuss? Burn the place down? Call the NAACP? Call the local Synagogue?

It really just depends, I mean is this friend of a friend that owns the house Asian? Cuz if so then what the swastika means to them probably isn't the same what it means to you. Nazis perverted the symbol in to something that represents hatred when some visited Japan and brought it back and showed Hitler. So if you're not ignorant perhaps you'd ask a question and get educated.

If it's some other racist thing or symbol I may not even bat an eye if they're white to be honest. Either they're racist or it belongs to a family member of theirs that's racist. That aint gonna stop me from having a good time. I've been in the company of racists before.

wash all them ****** (your friend included) and **** all their *******. load up all of their video game systems and erase those harddrives. ****boys hate that ****.
