from NYC want to move to Texas, particularly Houston

I know so many people that have moved from ny to here. They are all doing well. I have heard a million times that they are going to move back to NYC and the truth is they never do. This will def be a major change in lifestyle but souther hospitality is no joke. Houston is a great city especially for a family.
And we have the best med center in America. a lot of the old stereotypes people have about Texas really do not reflect Houston at all. Very open minded city.
Houston is a very spread out metropolitan city. I would really take some time and get to know the different parts of the city. They are all pretty different and diverse

John Jay got 1000s of females you think u might know her? From my analysis dudes on NT just watch girls from the sideline while taking snapshots of their jay/jogger combo...

Thats Diego though...

Famb get more yambs than a thanksgiving plate.

Houston native here, pop is from NYC. He moved down here after getting out of army, started construction business from nothing, now sitting comfortable and retired. Said he would never go back lol.

Come join me in the fire department. Your wife already knows the police side of things so I'm sure she can tell you why fire is better than police concerning quality of life. Work IT on the side easy. All of us have side jobs since we only work 2 days a week

Ever met a fireman who didn't love their job? You will never earn 6 figures just from the FD, but you will have a second-to-none pension, plenty of time off and make a whole new group of friends for life instantly.

Test is 4/21. Sign up starts soon.

Never been to Houston, lived in Dallas my whole life and could never see myself living any where else. We're making moves down here, up & coming city. I feel like there's a lot of opportunity, I'm seeing more corporate businesses being built. Bridges being built, roadways being redone like never before. Life's good, I'd say get in while you can.

IT projects and the presence of numerous electronics, computing and telecommunication firms such as Texas Instruments, HP Enterprise Services, Dell Services, Nokia, i2, AT&T, Alcatel-Lucent, Ericsson, CA and Verizon in and around Dallas.

HFDcareers.org is the first place to look and like HFD/HFD recruiting on FB. I think they just announced the test dates yesterday.

PM me if you want my info, I can tell you anything you want to know. Now is the time to get in, they are on a hiring frenzy. Just as long as you are under 35.

One of my boys made that move and now be thinks Houston is the greatest place on earth, he never stops taking about it
This ...got a homeboy that loves Houston , said he never wants to live back home again

Matter fact everybody I know that been to Houston likes it except for how spread out it is n the heat sometimes

Get ready to drop the state income tax.

Do yourself a favor- visit before you make the move...and do it in July so you get a good feel of the heat and humidity (if you choose Houston).

jprince told me, you can't eat on them h-town streets until NYC gives reparations for drake being slapped up by diddy. since you're a small time NYC cat, he said you can just kiss his ring and you'll be good, but until advised other wise, that's the way it is right now.
