Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro "UNC" - The Aftermath - NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING

The only bad stuff over at Baybrook is the footlocker employees can be pretty shady. They may only have 14 pairs available but that might be because the employees bought theirs and hooked up their friends. That happened quite a few times, as well as, tell people they won't be selling the shoes until actual store opening and then actually selling them two hours before store opening.

@G-Time, yeah I heard someone say that happened during the Chicago 1s OG release back in May.  I remember that too because I asked someone that week if they were doing raffles at the Baybrook Foot Locker, that employee said yes BUT they ran out of raffles.  Then I find out on the Saturday of the release that they immediately changed from "raffles" to "First Come First Serve" within the last minute.

At least I got a number amount from the Foot Locker guy this time around, in comparison to the numerous times where they wouldn't disclose it (as other stores would do).  But yeah, we'll see.

I think the brand thinks it's important or else the Carolina colorway would be on a 1.5 or 'rare-air' iteration....look it's the 5th 'remastered' 1 (officially 4th - laser chi SBB UNC). The hype is where it should be for it. There has always been a love or pass relationship with this light colored color blocking. I'm happy to have less hype around it and hopeful we all get our [emoji]127824[/emoji][emoji]127824[/emoji][emoji]127824[/emoji]s.
Actually these are the sixth Remastered if we count Lasers Frags were the first remastered shoe since they started the remastering jig

Are we just counting just the OG 1s with NA, or all 1s? Since all retros were suppose to be 'remastered' hence the price increase across all models...

If not, what about the Pinnacles, and those PE colorways (Melos, CP3, Griffin; can't remember off the top of my head if they came out before or after the Frags...)

I still think 'remastered' is straight up gimmick, an excuse to charge more $$$

i believe the 'remastered' AJ1s so far have been the Frags, lasers, DSMs, Chis, SBBs n UNCs with the Blk/Blk/Whites up next

Nike counts the Frags as the first in the remastered series (new mold new material sourcing) - unofficially. And the lasers were the first official remastered offering, followed by the other OG offerings -- CHIs (may) and SBBs (June) and now UNCs. In theory pinnacles are using the mold (which is predicated on the '94 mold) but since there's no before for pinnacles they don't get the 'remastered' tag. Melos/CP3s/et al aren't apart of the remastered series as I don't believe they released this year. There fundamently is a difference between the fit (thus the mold) of th '13 retro an '15 retro....is it worth the $20 bucks (not sure). Next year it will be interesting to see the rationale for the planned increase.

My guess, Nike will say the price increase is needed in order to place a new program/device that will further counter the bots/online ordering pirates, and prevent stores in selling pairs early.

Someone mentioned that the branch on Market St. Is the only one in SF getting them (Mission St. Isn't getting them I think...).

Might be best to call before you head into the City.

Also, weren't the Chicagos an in-store raffle...?

TheGodFresco TheGodFresco I called Market & they said a code. Mission St. told me they weren't getting them. Weird how only certain Shiekhs are getting these. I felt like all of them got the Chicagos.

They were, they handed out the raffle tickets upstairs of the store... Yeah I made those calls but I was gonna head there Wednesday because I am assuming Niketown is Wednesday too.

My local Footaction has no idea if they're going to receive shipment. I did check on the launch locator, and this particular FA isn't on the radar, but they have been known to get shipments in unexpectedly. Shoe Palace is also on the fence, they have no idea if they'll have them either smh.
Lol this man checked a store that isn't supposed to get them.

This isn't unheard of.  I can think of a few stores in Vegas (HoH Summerlin, HoH Miracle Mile, FTL BLVD Mall, FA Galleria) that didn't show up on their respective launch locator at times, but when you give them a call they say they're giving out raffle tickets.

Can't hurt to cover all bases and ask.
