Ran across this video. Excuse the annoying dude talking, but that leather looks almost SBB-esque when he presses it..

Look like the real deal but I'm no expert, maybe someone with a keen eye can verify.

He couldn't possibly be that naive. I mean, no box label, only a size sticker, lace bag on the inner right side of the right shoe and not on the outer left side on the left shoe, tied up on the second lace hole...just to name a few things.

This vid had me dying. Not only is the lace bag on the wrong shoe its on the inner side. To top it of the size sticker that is inside the shoe is the box label!! Lmao

@NikeOtaku .... I've been wearing 1s since I was a kid and I expect these to have some leather. It's a fallacy to think of the SBB leather (particularly the sail portion) as the standard for the silhouette, not to say we won't see that level leather again on a 1, but you setting yourself up for unnecessary disappointment. I am expecting the UNC to be impartial with my CHIs across the board (leather, QC, fit, etc).

I hear you man, I was only saying that because of the way the leather looked soft in that vid.  Chi quality would be great to me, I'll take that any day of the week my friend.  I think most people (myself included) have been happy with the production of the OG 1s that have released. Now if we could only get enough pairs for the people who want double and triples as well as for the people who just want 1, but I guess that's a different topic

there was this rumor at one point that a footaction store was to turn into a flight23.. given the location it wasn't believable and at the time it was "under renovation" and no one knew what the deal was.. it really just became more of boutique style footaction :smh:

It sucks that we don't have a Nike Store or speciality store for that matter.. I mean we not too long ago just got a load of HoHs (Winston, Raleigh, Fayetteville, and Charlotte) so maybe things will change in the next few years... The demand for kicks (specifically Nike product) is definitely booming..
