chick just told me the exact same thing.

And if I'm such a big bad reseller why is everyone on here who for the most part got at least one pair still tryna cop more off eastbay?

I think because most all people realize that buying sneakers and letting them sit and increase in value routinely will outperform even the most aggressive stock portfolio. [emoji]128521[/emoji]

I learned thru the N7 7s and the SBB 1s about the phone order thing. God I hate eastbay reps. Depending on if God likes you that day you'll either speak to an idiot or someone who can remotely help you. Shoes pop back up a lot so what I do is look at the list of links posted and get product numbers off FTL and EB and if I miss during the weekend or my local doesn't get any, I try the phone order thing. I'm not bragging but it's gotten to the point where I schooled these reps on basic ****. Like not letting me apply my discount... I read out the rules to them while they're mid-sentence telling me I can't and they stop speaking to let me finish. Hit me with the "I'm sorry sir, hold on for a brief moment" "okay you can apply the discount". Like this **** is almost comical. Once had to remind a rep that free shipping is available on orders above $100 and he said "not on launch products" I said "I been doing this **** 3 out 4 weeks for the past 6 months fam, I get free shipping" ... "Sorry sir you are correct"

I don't like to be rude because I myself work in retail, specifically sales but I will bully a mf for a lower price, especially if I'm entitled to it.

And LOL did you move the $975 OVOs or not

We ain't reselling tho

And I'm sure ever knows I've never copped anything to resell on here

Or once ever copped a shoe in a diff size because mine was sold out. Limited or not

a lot more people here play the team retail I'm your homeboy card until it comes time to return said favors. Definitely not saying everyone does it but a lot of cats on here resell on the low. I'm one of the guys that doesn't care to hide it

babyjs23 babyjs23 I know the pain all too well.
When the championship parade 11 lows dropped I had a YMCA Youth Development function on release day and missed out.
Came up on a NDC restock about a week or so later. But that was after I F'ed up and dropped $190 for some fugazis.

Ferrari 14s release I was sitting in the bleachers at my son's football game, on my phone striking out like a blind baseball player.
Had them in the cart but couldn't check out.

Black Friday 2014, at my wife's fam house in H-town up all night playing 2k15 on the 70in.
Wake up after about 4hrs of sleep and pull off the trifecta for me and my sons.
12.5 for me, 5.5Y for my big boy, and a 1Y for baby boy.
Little did I know Eastbays warehouse holiday help was sending my size 12.5 to somebody that ordered a size 7, and then they politely sent me a cancellation email saying item out of stock.

I would keep going but not trying to immerse myself in too many painful Jordan memories

So how should I counter, when they say free shipping doesn't apply to launch products? Srs.....Doesn't matter if it's a launch just as long as it's over a 100?

The only reasons I can see that attracts reselling are:

1) The person is too lazy or unskilled to get a job that would pay better than reselling

2) It's fun to have the cool shoe/Sup item/whatever and have people wanting what you own

3) You can do it on the side and help pay for your own pair

I totally get reason 3, I have done it once or twice when it wasn't too hard for me to get one extra.

I just felt slimy for doing it after awhile. I think it's unfair to people (like me) who would actually want the shoe.

So, I no longer do it.

People put alot of work into reselling, like alp here. You can't knock the hustle, but really, education and a good job is SO much better. You always get a check and you get benefits, helpful when you have a family.

No shame
i don't do it. When I help people on here I help expecting nothing in return. But when it's time to profit it's time to profit. No sense in me leaving money on the table unless I made someone a promise beforehand, then I keep my word

I'm in school working on that boss. Reselling with all the stretches of time with no hot release and lowballing etc is not an easy way to live, good to have another way of making money. Goes with everything in life, the more ways you can make money the better

No offense to Alp but it's dudes like him that turned me off the sneaker hobby

I buy in a year what I used to buy monthly, the times they have changed but no big deal, lots of money to do other things with

mr s j king mr s j king
I feel you 100%.

Sad thing is, most of my shoes in my little collection is bought on the resell prices. I rarely get to buy at retail. Sometimes I can find deals on shoes, but not for retail, just the lower end on the current resell prices.

But, I'm glad I have a pair coming in soon :pimp:

Glad you are. I wouldn't buy anything from you because your prices are too high, even for a reseller. But obviously some people do, so keep doing what you do. Money is always a nice thing.

Yeah, I don't buy anything anymore, except stuff like these. But, now, at least I have a nice connection where I pay retail.

Not everyone who cops multiples is a reseller. I doubled on chi 1s, a pair on ice and a pair for the club. When the club pair get beat ima unds the DS pair.

well you can always message me to inquire on a lower price, I am lenient on it sometimes.
