Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro "UNC" - The Aftermath - NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING

Posted this in the 1 topic but might as well post it here as well

Currently these are looking limited

Less allocation than chi 1's recently

We are still 2 months out so could change it as of this typing it's looking limited
Limited or not , I really really hope I can get my hands on these. If I strike out on RD  after putting in mad leg work, i'll just sell some other GR's and cop these bad boys. 1's are by far my favorite.

I'm hoping I can make the year with a trifecta: CHIs, SBBs,...UNCs. AND if baby Jesus is listening ....dark shadows.

I'm counting down the days. These are a double up for sure, if I'm lucky enough to do so.

What Chicago's r to most, these are to me. Especially considering jb ripped me off on the earlier half retro

Looks like I'll be out of the US when these release, hopefully the local spots care about these to keep at least a few in stock for me to scoop

. More limited than Chicagos has me worried, I struck out on Chicagos...
I'm in.  Hopefully they'll release where I'm at (currently out of town and will still be when these release).

Footwork + due diligence + good karma = success. At least that's been my formula the past couple of years.
In need of a history lesson.  When, if ever, were these last released?

I trust the knowledge of NTers over those sneaker blogs that rush out stories before checking their materials.

There is the original 1985/6 release obviously, then there was a patent leather Mid in I want to say '03, then there was the pair with Michael Jordan on the side panel from that Alpha Omega pack with the XX2s in either '07 or '08, and another Mid release in 2013 I think.

There was a KO version last year as well.

So then technically, these 2015 UNC in true High OG form will be first time they're released since the OGs in 1985-86?

That will be a problem then, especially if word is true that these will be "more limited than the Chicago 1s".   I'm hoping that won't be the case and that everyone who wants a pair gets one.

Should be rather easy in my area (small metro town in Alabama). Haven't missed an og 1 yet for retail except for royals or black golds that didn't release here. I bought 4 pairs of chis lol I literally could have bought the whole fsr if I brought enough people lol.

It's pretty widely known that these are coming back in true OG form for the first time and being that they are 1s, they will already be difficult to obtain.

Yeah, I'm expecting these will be difficult to cop despite a less popular colorway (compared to BReds, Royals, CHIs).....limited quantity (not expecting a GS run like with CHIs), a high thirst factor for remastered OGs, but with the upside of a better (slighltly) allocation than SBBs. I'm definitely looking for trade bait for these since I've seen preorders in the $400s range.
