Sup NT. Basically, I live in NYC and the main way of transportation everyday is using the MTA which means having a metrocard. My friend gave me his student metro card to use, and I was stopped back in December and given two summons with a court date in May. About last week, I got stopped again and was given a ticket with a $100 fine for the same thing. Before these two incidents, I have never been in any trouble and had a clean record. Since I have no idea how this works, do I just pay the 100$ ticket now, and wait till the court date of the two summons to see what happens then? Or do I have any other options? Thanks

In addition, will any of this have a lasting impact on my record, or once everything gets paid I won't have to worry about anything?

I have a terrible driving record...

Capias warrants, suspensions, the whole 9.

Get a lawyer, drop him the $200 or whatever fee they charge, and get it all taken care of.

Fam you wilding right now, B

You 18+ using a student metro card? Dog just pay the summons, my guy. Don't go to court because the D.A gonna try and pin some bogus charges on you. Fax, B. He'll make it out to make you look like a sex offender. Being 18 years old trying to disguise as a student under 18.

I knew of a guy that got arrested for using a student metro card and he's doing time now for that. Granted he had a warrant out for his arrest, and had a loaded 50 cal on him when he hopped the turnstile, but the student metro cars is what gave him that jail time.

It don't matter if you got a clean record, fam. They'll find dirt on you. Next thing you know, you up in da tombs in manhattan. Trust me, you don't wanna get sent there.

I know it's hard with MTA prices going up, but just stick it through, B. Things is gonna get better once Deblasio leaves office. **** ain't been the same since Guliani got elected :smh:

not srs
Just pay the tickets. Don't waste your time with court

You got bagged for the same crime you committed in December which you haven't even gone to court for? B, what part of the game is you on B? You're a repeat offender under double jeopardy Litigation. They gone throw the book at you breh...gonna hit you in the nose bone right quick. You a street cat but not a subway cat. Recognized your lane and stay in it. I'm guessing you facing 25 to life and that's only if you can book Cochran and pay his $200 flat fee.

why did they stop you exactly? was it because you were using it during non school days (holidays)? or was it because you look like a grown man using a student metro?
