FIRST TIME TO HAWAII.....CAN I GET ANY HELPFUL TIPS???

I love Kauai, been there 5 or 6 times. Way less crowded than other islands, so much to do there.

I remember when I went to hawaii Aiea Bowl was one of the favorite spots I ate at. Helenas and Rainbow drive inn were definitely appreciated tho. My girl loved boots and kimo those macadamia nut pancakes were :smokin can't deny that.

7/11 musubis are readily available, but Iyasume was straight piff. They close early tho.

Leonards is crack in a pink box.

Poke went to Ono Seafood I thought it was the best here, but honestly you could get good poke at Foodland and im sorry to say but COSTCO poke wasn't all that bad either. Costco is definitely worth a trip HURRICANE POPCORN :smokin

Hoping to go back in August. NT meet up whats good?

if you are military or DoD, you can get parking for $90 a month at the HaleKoa which is right there. daily is like $18 if i not mistaken.

thats the only 'feasible' parking imo

Staying at the Hilton Waikiki, do I need a rental car?

If you plan to do anything, yes. Just be aware traffic is no joke. Also the Hilton hotels are actually on the outskirt of Waikiki, closer to Ala Moana. Unless you're at the one near the zoo?

I'd recommend booking the luau thru a tour so you can just hop on the tour bus especially if you'll be drinking.

Going back to kona next month. Went last year with the fam and we loved it so much we are going again. This time around I'd like to take the wife out for a night on the town as we will be with both our mothers on this trip to watch over the kids. Anyone know anywhere to go? Things to do? Didn't get to do too much without the kids last year so I want to make sure to take advantage of the free childcare.

one of the best things i ever did in kona was hike to a lava tube/ underground river. nearby there's a beach loaded with turtles sunning themselves.

Going to Oahu staying at Outriggers from 6/4 ~ 6/8.

Cant wait!! Just bought Shark Encounters and Zipline at Climbworks :pimp: same day too :x

$1 dollar drinks at this spot called Moose's in downtown Wakiki on Tuesday's. Also I went to Germaine's luau, show is really good and food was on point too.

I'm thinking of just copping a ticket for this summer...

Short time only, maybe 3 days or so. I might be going end of June/early July.

Let me know if yall go during that time. Gotta take the Wifey to 50th State Fair! :smokin

H&M has a lot of linen clothes/suits if you wanna dress up and wanna be comfortable in the beach setting

no need for a blazer
