Any NT'ers afraid of getting older?

Somewhat, mainly afraid of my body breaking down on me.
But other than that I'm cool with it, black dont crack, bout to age graceful as a mog

i like using NT to measure how long its been lol. I was...13 when i joined now i'm turning 21. Im young as **** but i can't help but having an existential crisis here and there

Age with grace and style.

Makes no sense being afraid of the inevitable.

This.

Also, with the older I get, I realize that my definition of old gets out into perspective.

At age 19 you think 30-35 is old. At age 25-30 you realize that you are still young, and really in the prime of your life until you turn 50. And even at 50, you aren't really "old" in comparison to someone who was blessed to see 80+ years.

We are barely scratching the surface of our lives. Some of yall have barely lived a quarter of your life but are scared of growing old.

Live life and don't count the years.

What?

Staying young and living forever? Sounds great to me

While that would be great, we're not quite there yet technology wise.

The alternative I was referring to is NOT getting any older...in other words, YOU'RE DEAD.

Death ends fun, therefore live as long as possible.

Petrified. Trying to do everything in my power to make sure life doesn't pass me by.

Nah, when I get older I'ma be that dude. Age is an illusion. You are as old as you feel.

But like Gucci said, I'm a be a hustlin *** old man.

As long as my health and fam good and that paper comin in, I'm in the fountain of youth.

No. I'm in the best shape of my life with more money than I've ever had, and my salary will continue to increase and I'll continue to go to the gym.

Life is good, and will likely continue to be for the foreseeable future.

People are afraid of getting older bc they haven't lived yet.

**** stressing over the inevitable. You might not even get to experience old age and die prematurely.

Just enjoy the present moment

The thought of getting older is exciting for me. I feel like I've always had a long-term outlook and usually sacrifice in the short-term to set myself up down the road.

Laying low, having been humbled by a lot of things within the past two years... Only place to go is up and that's a dope thought :pimp:

Been on NT for over 10 years being 19 years old, and I turn 30 this April :wow:

Time truly goes by so fast, happy at where I am in my life compared to the direction I thought I was going when I was younger.

Nah. In every aspect my life has improved with age.

The only thing I fear is dying before accomplishing my goals.

This guy gets it.

I'm 43 and I'm afraid of getting older. I mostly miss being able to hoop like I did when I was younger (I'm 6'7" and played a little bit of college ball).  Now I'm usually the oldest one on the court.  I can see plays develop but I'm too slow to take advantage.  I wish I would have known that the last time I dunked was going to be the last time I dunked.  I would have taken the time to really enjoy it.
still 2 points, b.

I've been a member since 2003 and had my OG name banned but I still feel about the same as I did back then. I do feel slower when playing ball though and not being able to dunk anymore sucks.

society overvalues youth more & more, or people in society are subjected to this overvaluing and grow up not knowing any other way, more & more every generation

not an excuse - i'd just like to aware yall if you hadn't thought about it that way before

they got old goat warpig movie actresses & actors that would have shut the eff up & retired years ago if this was the past
broads with "pre-emptive" plastic surgery
thots talkin like they 10 years old up in da pronos
ric flair is still only "semi-retired" while mcmahon on da cover of some muscle mag all frail & roided out at the same time

ish has to slow down yall

i'd continue but i got a text

Even if you lived 200 healthy years it will go by in a flash. I find the thought of my time just slowly diminishing like a sand timer, every second closer and closer. Many people realize how valuable time is when it is too late.

I was scared when I turned 25 but when I turned 30 it didn't even phase me one bit

Thought you were way younger for some reason

I'm 28 and hitting 30 soon is weird. I don't feel "old" but these past few years kinda flew by
