Show me your window tint

5% in the back windows, legal tint in the front. No window shield tint.

I've thought about getting 20% all around or do the ceramic tint but that's a ways out

It's hard to drive at night, but I don't go out much at night anyway. During the day, it's nothing. The IQs of people in FL drop 30-40 points when driving at night and in rain.

Always cracks me up when people say that they don't drive at night - but they forget about a wet December evening. It's not just pitch dark that matters but dull light and a tinted windscreen is dumb - you're basically driving with impaired vision and that's why there are laws against it.

But safe enough for Police officers and other governmental agencies, right?

Good thread. Probably going to go 30 on the front, 20 in the back when I get mine done. Just need to find a decent place in MD that won't charge me a lot.

Last whip I had 20 all around but I lived in MD. When I moved back to VA and got another one I left it at state limit. It's not terrible since the interior is black, but it could be darker. I'm not ******* with these Fairfax ******** man, last time I got pulled over for a routine traffic stop dude put his hand at his waist as soon as he saw me, without a word being uttered.

Because I was black and had the audacity to have a skully on in single digit weather. It was a stop sign ticket, no reason he should've done that. I've been mulling over filing a complaint, but just like the stop sign, it's my word against his.

Hand on tool is standard operating procedure for law enforcement when interacting with black men in California.

Fam, same thing happened to me once, I was shook.

This holiday season, I left some family's crib in Philly for thanksgiving dinner and I was on the I-95 on my way back to NY. I doing 70 in a 55 and I had a trunk and back seat full of chickens (cooked chicken/leftovers)
I get pulled over in NJ and cops approach my car on each side with their hands on their hips. I made sure to roll my windows all the down when I pulled to the side and kept my hands on the wheel at all time. They asked for my license, I felt like I had to tell them that I was gonna be reaching for it in my inner coat pocket before I moved. This is during last holiday season when all that police madness was at it's peak so I was shook to deaf

The guy at the tint shop told me since my car was black on black and since I was in NoVA, it would be in my best interest to go 50% all around. Just don't give the police out here any reason to get reckless.

I want the tints to be darker, but it's not that bad since I have a dark interior.

20% all over with a beige interior , I still feel that's too damn light, people can still see right through my **** , I'm already black male can't have anything lower than that .

Yeah, cause I don't know anything about vision right?

Other than 15 years as an eye doctor?

I mean eye doctor, of course youre gonna say something like that.

My boy is a cop and used to have 20% on his front windshield and 5% on the front and it wasnt at all hard to see outside. Like I said, even at 5% only difficult time was parking side street.

Just posted this on another forum. 35 on the sides, 50 on the windshield. Like someone else said sometimes I feel like I should've gone darker.

If you have the money go ceramic. And if you want heat reduction/retention look into llumar air 80 for the windshield.

I got 15% all around, nothing on windshield, that's just dangerous  Guy said it was illegal to have anything on the windshield here in Florida. It gets a bit hard to see at night time, but not having other peoples lights annoy you is :pimp: . Anyways, I've had them just over a year now and haven't been troubled about them once. I even got pulled over for speeding, but the cop didnt even acknowledge the tints lol.

All depends on cop. If they got yoy for something else they won't say anything

Your car is :smokin

This business owner by house had a white one. Somebody hit the passenger side big big dent on that side. Had it for a few weeks then bounced back with a brandd new all black one
