Hey guys I'm a noob and bought my first pair of J's I've been wanting since they first released in 1996. I took a risk and bought off a seller through eBay. The first thing that threw me off is the color way name on the box read "Oreo Cookies" I've never seen that even on the kids remastered boxes I bought for my niece it says "Tech Grey". Also I thought these we're going to be like the OG Oreos and be more of a light grey color and not more white on the sole . If you can help me out please!

I would open a dispute with paypal and try to get your money back.  If you received it in the new black/gold jumpman boxes (which i assume is under the shoes), then thats a major red flag as being fakes.  Only the toddlers and grade school sizes came in the new black/gold boxes.  Adult sizes came in the cement print boxes and color coding is Black/Tech Grey-Black.  I can only see 1 picture from your post, but based on the picture it seems like the shape of the toebox is off, it looks very boxy, but it could be from the lighting/angle.  Based on the pairs that I have, the perforations on the tongue align cleanly or close to parallel with the cut of the throat that meets the tongue, while the perforations on your left pair is slanted.

Based on this video: you can see this guy received his pair with the black/gold jumpman box and the shape of the toebox is off from authentic pairs (all his other jordan reviews are fakes also).  If this is what you received, then ask for a refund.

Post some more pictures and wait for other members' opinions.

Box is wrong, but dont necessarily mean the shoe is fake. Need better quality pics, and more of them to form an opinion

Thank you but for the feedback guys! Here's a couple of more detailed pictures so you can see more into it

The seller also said he got a call from his store he bought them from which is " Incredible feets" in NY and said those are substitution boxes and that they were messed up. But he said he got them checked and verified by flight club and they said they were 100% authentic if you can look at these more detailed pictures and let me know I'd appreciate it thank you !

Sneaker authenticity aside, I went to Flight Club a few months back as I believed I was sold a GM pair of Brazil 6's. They refused to check them over and said it was their policy not to do that as they're not the manufacturer.

The only way I'd say that they could be verified is if the seller wanted to get them sold through FC and they were accepted into consignment

Thank you guys pretty dissapointed to this seller but he did state he sold it to FC NY. Does anyone know about the store in NY " Incredible feets" ?

And also would you guys accept quality control issues as an excuse as to why they could be like this ?

What does he mean he sold it to FC?

Is that just the angle or is the tongue really crooked?

The shoes are not like that It's just how the tongue was sitting I tried them on and the tongue wasn't crooked , but he actually sold it through FC he said and they checked it before they accepted the pair ... But then again anyone can be stating that. Is the sole supposed to be grey or white because I've seen so many different pairs with it varying
