The show is a reality show that revolves around the fact they work in a tat shop. It's not strictly about tats. Of course they don't show them doing their job all the time or even most of the time, that'd be boring as ****. You wanna sit through a 2 hr back tat?
As for Ted I'm not even sure dude gets paid. As said earlier he's the Tommy of the show. Son just gets yambs and cracks jokes.
The shop is usually open all year cameras or not. It's an actual business. It's how Cease got a chance to turn it in to a show in the first place. Don't be fooled by the tv aspect of it.
To be honest when the show first came out I was glad they had a show about black tattoo artist displaying their skills. I watched Miami Ink, and NY ink and I really watched for the art. Ami and his crew showing their skills, and the hard work that goes into it. Of course there will be drama but the whole show wasn't about drama and outside nonsense. These dudes at black ink look like a bunch of goof balls, and very unprofessional, that is why I stopped watching it. To be honest, just watching this new season I'm already caught up on all the crap they did last season w/o seeing it. I just think they could have gone a different route with it, and if this is how Caesar runs his shop then it makes sense why he needs to shut it down when he goes to North Caro. I don't blame the employees either, it is all on him. Every time you turn around you having parties in the shop, fights in the shop
. Can blame O **** for smashing in shop. When O brought that chick to shop, nobody did anything except the loud chick. So that shows Caesar can't trust nobody to hold **** down when he is gone. Not good for a business owner.

Basically. This is why I asked if they actually do business when during the year. I don't see how the shop is profitable with an owner like Caes.
I just find it funny how dude could just close the **** down and be like aight ****** peace out. Then say heY you want some lunch?
Reunion? Them fools been chillin with each other the whole time. Caes never closed that **** down, I'm sure somebody from Harlem can confirm the shop been open. Whether they in there working or doing tats is one thing, but I bet they been having mad parties.Edited by Spiceman80 - 10/15/15 at 11:23am
