America's Most Overpriced cities, I live in #6 smh

The article is stupid. They arent overpriced, that what supply/demand dictates. Saying something is "overpriced" would be saying "X" is overpriced in relation to what "X" offers in return for price. All of those cities are expensive to live in because they either A. Huge metropolis or B. Suburbs of those metropolis mentioned

That

Nyc to me is overpriced but to someone else it may not be

Overpriced =\= expensive

I really don't get why you're complaining about cost in the city you're paying peanuts basically leaching off your baby momma.

My chest....

:x :x

Best part about Sacramento is the diversity and lack of pretentiousness.
diverse indeed. Use to reside in valley high (south) and in the manners (north) and you see every ethnicities from Russian, Asians, punjab, blk, Hispanic, pac islander,,etc.. City is slow. But there's plenty of $$ out there and state jobs

Hey ice city leave op alone.
You mad because op has it good with his baby momma paying for his? I think you should be mad that a female aint paying for yours.

I know im mad. Grrr

and sacramento is trash if you've ever lived in a major city before

No kidding, if not $10 its at least $9 or something real close

It's not a place to visit bro. Like most of CA outside of L.A. and S.F. it's a place where people pay a lot of money (relative to the rest of the country) to start a family.

Of course it's not better than the Bay or L.A. and there aren't the attractions of a major city but it's certainly not an L by American city standards.

yea you right i shouldnt label a city based on a 4 day stay but man.

didn't even have to click the link to know we're #1. downtown honolulu checking in. studio apartments in my building goes for over 300k. food costs are ridiculous. despite all that, i love it here and will probably live here until the aliens land and take us to outer space.

Denzel* MY Man :pimp:

Sacramento is a great place to start a family. The fam got priced out and we had to move from SF to Sac bout 15 years ago and it was a great decision. Still driveable to the Bay, Tahoe/Reno, 1 hr away from Napa, etc.

Just stay away from South Sac and North Highlands....that ish is on par with East Oakland and Stockton

thanks GOD I live in the south now and not the East Coast. idk how my friends here do it. I live like a king now

Moving from #1 to #8. Let's see how much different it really is. I know for a fact food is cheaper and housing will be cheaper. But I am adding gas and utilities into my mix coming back to the mainland.

These lists are always humble brags at their finest. I moved from SF to NYC in the last year and I'm just as broke as I was before. Millennials like myself could give two $^*^*s about what city is least affordable these days ( but we'll complain about it like we do)... But the reality is if Berlin becomes the Mecca off the world while also becoming the least affordable,we're all still moving there. The logic for young people is simple: I'd rather be broke in Berlin than broke in Wisconsin.

The saying "if you could make it in NYC you could make it anywhere" is not without merit. That statement holds less weight if NYC has terrific and affordable health care, extremely affordable housing, and plentiful job opportunities at your doorstep  NYC is a city high in demand, it's supposed to be overpriced

I live in San jose. In the hills. Couple miles from aldon smith, and where Ray McDonald used to live. I've seen him at Popeyes.
