Being a More Patient Person

I am a very impatient person, but lately i think its been getting better, its tough tho not gonna lie

"**** patience, I might give the doctor more patients if you talk too much, these guns might buss"

Sounds like you're dealing with a woman! LOL!!!

I tell you this much: never argue with anyone. If you do then that means that you are agreeing that you two are on the same level. Now you can have a spirited dialogue, conversation, etc ... but you ALLOW an argument to happen is the last thing you should do (your fault or not).

I look at it like this: Don't major in the minor. Meaning don't feed into anything that's trivial and doesn't have a catastrophic affect on your life. Everything in life is a choice. You have to CHOOSE (easy or not) to not to feed into the ignorance.

I could break it down more, but that would take another 2 hours lol. Good luck

I got you on the break down famb,

OP its like this: “Never argue with a fool, onlookers may not be able to tell the difference.” - Mark Twain

Jay even broke it down further for the street cats: "A wise man told me don't argue with fools/Cause people from a distance cant tell who is who"
Ironically he was in an argument when he said that, but he was not arguing with a fool. And we all know who won that argument

just remember your time is valuable, but sometimes if you show that restraint, it may reward you

I'm impatient with bad service. If someone isn't doing their job to my expectations, I let it be known.

For example, I pull into the National car rental spot at JFK yesterday and dudes are chillin the a van w the heat on. They're supposed to approach when you pull up. I get out the whip, look at all three and say, "We working today or just collecting that paycheck?" **** I look like waiting in the cold for their ***** when I'm the customer.

Couple days ago I told a waitress to never let anyone order the mac n cheese again cause it's the worst I ever had.

 that's nothing, fam

Maybe I'm just a loose cannon
I was at a Red Lobsteronce, and i was waiting way too long for my food. I got up, bum-rushed my way to the kitchen and started flipping out, making a scene, and told the cooks that I'll have them looking for work in Tuscaloosa if they keep this bummy service up. I ran up on the waiter (who was chilling at the bar, kee-keeing up with her coworkers), knocked a glass of water over and got in her face and demanded I get some type of food or reimbursement to make up for the time lost. Needless to say, I was off a couple shots of the Henny and was listening to M.O.P-Ante Up on repeat on the car ride to Red Lobster.

sit down in a quiet place on the floor with your back as straight as possible and your eyes close and just take long deep breaths and try and keep your mind as clear as possible.

You can modify too. The point is for you to unwind, clear your head and start a new. I just sit in a quiet place with eyes opened still. Put the phone on silence. Time can fly by once you're really in it.

I used to hate it when they us sit on stuff floor for hours to do this. I've always had active imagination so I would think of something and crack up which resulted in the teachers hitting me with sticks and rulers. Lol.

OP try some more positive self thinking.  What you tell yourself, how you pep-talk yourself, the messages you convey to yourself in your own head, all that will help.  If you are more positive with it you will find yourself having a better attitude throughout the day, and some of the little, stupid inconveniences won't bother you as much.  You will be able to brush them off or be content knowing they are not worth getting you out of your positive zone/vibe.  It's so easy to get caught up in the day-to-day BS, at least for me.  Sometimes all it takes for me to keep my cool and exercise more patience is what I start out by telling myself when I start my day...instead of '3 more days until the weekend' or '9 more hours on the clock' I take the approach of 'I'm going to kick *** today!' or 'I'm going to knock XYZ out of the water when I get to work!' etc. etc.

So far as the BS tolerance level...I'm in the same boat, but having the more positive outlook helps me put things into perspective.  If I'm kicking *** and taking names and accomplishing what I need to do and in a good mood...it becomes less likely that some trivial BS is going to throw me off my game or get to me.  Whereas, if I'm just going through the motions of 'FML it's only Tuesday and XYZ is wrong, I need to do ABC, etc. etc....when the little stuff does comes up, it makes it easier to snap.
