Even me being a die hard Warriors fan, my opinion is that Harden is slightly ahead of Curry....

HOWEVER.....

if this is the ONE year that the voters dont just simply give the award to the best player on the best team, I am going to be pissed. Like I said, I think Harden is slightly ahead of Curry, but based on how the award has been given out in recent times, it should be Curry's.

if he's over hyped then he's not worthy of mvp over harden?

It's not that. I'm just saying you make it seem like Steph is the only reason they're # 1 and without him they drop off like crazy. This team is deep as hell. From Dray, to Klay, to Bogut, to even Iggy and Livingston. Hell even Mo Speights had a nice run earlier in the season. The squad is deep this year.

They'd be what the Nuggets were the past few years.

Beard gets my vote, dude has actually been playing good defense this year and has been tearing it up on the other side of the ball as usual. Steph/Westbrook tied for runner-up.

gotta go with westbrook if they're the 8th seed. klay cancels out steph... gsw is a team... harden lost his steam. i think they are tired of giving it to lebron.

that said, i will put 5 figures on gsw to win the series should they play the thunder... and post it on here if you guys need proof lol

I think Curry should win the MVP. He has been ballin out the ENTIRE season. Emphasis on entire. He's the main star on the best team based on standings in the hardest conference in the league.

that entire team has been balling out though. GSW is just a f-ing good team. klay ballled out, draymond broke out... everyone else played great. it wasn't steph alone but yeah iguess steph deserves it

The real title of the thread should be:

Who do you think should be MVP? and Who do you think will ultimately get it?

I think it should be Harden but it will be Curry because his team will be #1 in the league and the voters value that tremendously.

Why isn't Klay getting any respect?  He's putting up similar numbers as Curry minus the assist.

Harden on the other hand, has been the Alpha and Omega for the Rockets.

Without Harden the Rockets would struggle to make the eastern conference playoffs.

Without Curry the Warriors would get a top 4 seed in the East.

Curry is incredible.. Steph and Klay are actually my 2 favorite players to watch (Wiggins #3)..

Im just saying that Harden's load is way heavier... and Klay helps lighten Curry's pressure.

I think it is Harden. I also think the fact that he's become an average defender this year is a big step and a point over curry.

Fun race though

Steph has become a better defender this year. Curry doesn't play the same amount of minutes as harden and third numbers are similar while the Warriors are 10 games ahead of the Rockets in the West. Curry should be the MVP without question
