Jordan 5 "Pro Stars" - June 6, 2015

Like other have said, Im having trouble understanding in what universe these are "Space Jam" themed

This colorway came up in some other thread, can't remember where, and I proposed this redesign

I don't like this color under any circumstances, but it amazes me how incompetent JB is at even making their own crappy ideas look halfway decent

Yep. Even when they manage to come close to greatness they screw it up, like the Fear V's that obviously should have come with a smoked outsole or the Laser 1's that should have had a cement grey outsole...
 
If this was a GS cw it would make sense, but making this in adult sizes is just plain dumb... No matter what backstory they come up with
 
Was at Best Buy and they had a Space Jam DVD. I can kinda see the Space Jam theme in this shoe. Kinda.
 
well one thing i like about them is you dont have to worry about the netting on the sides yellowing. but too many colors on the shoe for me.
 
If I know JB......the most ugliest of colors be the most limited and sought-after. I may cop just for collectors purpose......but these colors. Smh. Remind me of the leroy 1's. Just AWFUL. I will cop for $79 at an outlet if they ever get that low like some of the xx8's
 
I think they would look dope w/ some khaki's and nice matchin color shirt to go w the sneaks.

this, with clear netting, all white eyelets and a regular 3m tongue woulda been coppable.I would move the speckling from the green to the pink as well. or just leave it off

I can't believe this is actually being released. Now im not one to knock others for their taste but this cw is absolutely horribly done. 
 
Very dissapointed and I am not expecting to cop. But mybe I'll grab one and have some 1 customize it.

It's not really that they've "lost" it tbh. it's more the fact that this type of thing is the style now.

You just proved my point. You think JB has to adapt to any style? They've been fine for 30yrs doing them. Today they're white hot! They do not have to cater to any demographic, to move units. But since they, do they lost it.

these look worse than some of the color blocking and combos we saw on variants from the 06-07 time frame.

Remind me of elementary school and all the wacky colors (I'm an '80s baby).
