I'm thinking that it would be a black based shoe with royal blue as the Jumpman and some other royal blue and white hints, but nah, they give me this......

right, but why not do what's in style? attracts many more people who might be return customers in the future, who may not have otherwise cared about the brand.

I get that they want the poison green to represent the Monstars, but I changed it to black in Photoshop as it just didn't look right to me. Although I don't see the connection to Space Jam with the poison green removed now. Oh well, it's not like I thought of Space Jam when I saw the shoes with the green either.

I like this colorway for some reason but im not spending money on em. got rid of all of my V's from last year for basically retail :smh: shoes were all way too big and bulky and not worth the retail especially with the jump in price

JB's been "losing it" for the past 10 years. If Increasing prices by over $50 within that 10 year span while still selling kicks like its crack in 80's qualifies as "losing it" then sign me up! Winning must be highly overrated then.
 
JB milking it...there is 0 connection with 5's and Space Jams. Concept is stupid, just drop a cw without a name, but it's painfully obvious they're trying to hook the dummies who don't know any better with a nickname to be cool.
 
Won't call them trash but I can see where someone  might get hype for them. No reason to even care them other than the dash of green; every other color way that's used here has been done better on previous 5's but that's just me. But if I see them on Nike website in 2 weeks I'll cop, no need to rush. If not meh...
 
This is such a "fad" release, in regards to the colorway ...

I remember I did a focus group for JB years back and I said "no neon, hot pink mash ups" ... well ... I guess they weren't focusing on what I was saying.

But to be totally honest, the thing that makes the shoe BLAHHHH is the black netting on the side ... if it was white, it would have changed people's minds on the shoe; plus it would have been a good shoe to do customs on.
 
These would've been flames if they were a Cement IV type color blocking all around, that poison green kills that shoe imo.
 
Was excited for a Space Jam release this year until these got the tag...smh
