Jordan 5 "Pro Stars" - June 6, 2015

is it me or these V's didn't get the same attention "quality wise" as the 2015 white and silver versions.  the leather looks like the leather they use on the fire red V's that drop in January a couple years back
I'm seeing the same thing! I'm definitely getting the White Metallics but I'm on the fence for these. That leather on the 2013 5's was plastic except for on Laney's. If they make the leather better I might be more inclined.

We see eye to eye on this topic I honestly think that only some Jordans this year will be getting that remastered love

Actually these are more inline with the movie than the OG a Space Jam XI's!
Yea but the space jams 11 are called "Space Jams" because they actually look similar to the 11's he had on in the movie. These dont scream space jam they seem more like a fresh prince sample like others have said on here.

Exactly. The 11's aren't supposed to be based around any particular color, and these 5's don't even have the right shades of said colors.

I think Nike should do away with plain white leather, it looks tacky, cheap & unfinished. I remember buying a pair of white tens and they had the cheap, plastic, regid, white leather on them, and my pair looked like they had been scratched up on the toe box. I don't know how else to describe it but it look like a bad sunburn and you were peeling-but in this case it was the leather peeling. Took those back asap, manager just shook his head. I think they should make these like the all white 5's that are soon releasing with the heavy tumbled leather, it adds depth and is more aesthetically pleasing. Just looks more quality.
Either way these are an ill pair of sneakers and plan to cop.

I'm not sure what you mean about non tumbled white leather looking tacky. JB is fully capable of making decent non tumbled white leather, they just choose not to on most releases. For example, black/white 1s and laser 1s both have decent non tumbled white leather. I for one, would hate for a white cement 4 to be remastered with tumbled white leather :smh:.

passing on these, but i'm pretty sure they will sell like marvin the martian 7s and probably be produced in similar numbers as bel air 5s. if these are gr, they will sit.

BUT, the timing for these is perfect. spring upon us, summer on the horizon. i know alotta ppl in my city seem to like these type of bright colors in the spring/summer. so yea, i'm sure these will do well.

Yea true, true. I have the white 4s on my feet as we speak. Quality sucks. On most models I would like a 'light' tumble-as far as white leather goes. I think that even a nice light tumbled leather would look great on these white cement 4s. I think the Chicago 10s have a light tumble and the all-white 5s that were a defianite no cop, I saw some up close pictures that showed some detail and it looks like they have a heavy tumbled leather to them and now I might purchase. It would be a definite no go on the laser models- it wouldn't look right. But on predominately white shoes I think I would be the way to go, of course there will be exceptions. But for the most part TUMBLED>NON-TUMBLED. TUMBLED looks more quality, adds depth, adds durability, and is more eye pleasing. But you're right as far as the remastered line we haven't had anything that is predominately white and non-tumbled. I'm hoping these 5s are butter soft.

Damn no love for these. I can't wait. I hope they have a heavy tumble texture. Like the black netting and toung. Just right for summer and some real light blue colored jeans.
*i was super hyped now I see that there isint any tumble what so ever. Guess I will need to see in person.

Can't blame JB, people will buy them.

I just find it amazing how this brand has managed to turn my grail into a clown shoe. Even the last fire red retro was a huge letdown.
