Wale - Wow... That’s Crazy - Out Now

best album

Easily. It's got the best of all of his styles in one.

"The God Smile" is too dope

Just listened to this album and I can say this **** is fire, bruh came through with the lyrics, good beats, good/semi-good hooks at times and he kept the wordplay while delivering a message that wasn't cryptic, can be interpreted by anyone and still be played in the club Or in the whip. I would put this up there with his first album in terms of how dope it is. I feel like the next few years we gonna start seeing rappers like j cole, wale, kendrick lamar, lupe, possibly even drake spit some more conscious raps that the masses can still interpret but still jam out to it and encourage each to put out more real music for everybody not just the backpackers

Lupe's been doing that tho . . .

Can't wait till its on Spotify
Sometimes I feel bad for thinking this way. There was a point in time where I would buy albums just to support but with spotify now...

Why feel bad? If you end up enjoying it then buy the album (like I will) but if you don't then that artist doesn't deserve your money especially since you can't return opened CD's. If you like some of the records then buy those songs individually. There's only two artist I purchase from on RD without hearing the product and that's Kendrick and Cole but they've earned that from me.

:nthat:

Preordered it when I ordered Kendrick's album from Amazon, should have the physical tomorrow

Apparently they were being sold at concerts. Haven't found too much info on them yet

Saw quite a few lastnight at the pop up show in NYC.
I must say, Wale repped HARD.
Here y'all go.

Cole proceeded to share the story on how they met. And how he watched Wale's career almost end after his 1st album.
it was REAL genuine and heartfelt.
he then proceeded to perform "No Role Models" & "Tale Of 2 Cities"

Wale starts "Ambition" and then THIS happens.

Meek Mill. Places explodes once again. But like Cole, he too forgot his verse. The crowd didn't tho. He talks a lil, then history is made.

Meek does the intro. Jesus comes down from heaven, spits it word for word. Song ends, Jesus goes back to heaven.

Meek spends the rest of the show on stage rockin. Next to Elliot Wilson, who's on his phone more than I am. Meek grabs a few phones takes pics. Wale jumps in crowd. turnt up.
