Wale - Wow... That’s Crazy - Out Now

When he first came out I thought he would be better than J Cole. Love Wale's first album hated Cole's, but Cole's really took off 
 
I can agree with many of you in this thread Wale started off good, but I see him in the same system as Fabolous where he puts out some really good mixtapes to some horrible albums. I remember when his last promo run for the last album dude had me highly anticipating the album with his breakfast club interview, dude had me sold an everything but then when I finally listened to the album I was disappointed. Same ol Wale I give him so many chances I'll probably just download this one and not even waste my money on buying a retail copy. His arrogant attitude has gotten worse over the years as well quick to go at women/lame dudes/and journalists just because they are not feeling him. Sombody needs to go ahead and have a man to man conversation with the boy, I wish him the best but he needs to a reality check soon.

Fam I respect your opinion but honestly the substance just isn't there with Wale. That last album def didn't live up to the hype/ expectations.

It's understandable you would like him since he from your city, hell I like him just because we both Nigerian, doesn't change the fact that this album literally seems like a flop and it hasn't eve dropped yet.
 
I'm ready for this great album to drop. Been waiting for this album to drop every since I heard more about nothing.

I stopped rocking with Wale after attention deficit.

Ill give this a listen though.
 
Surprised the Girls on Drugs sample cleared.

Wale can be corny, but i really don't understand the hate for his music. He's had bad songs here and there, but definitely nothing to deserve the amount of hate he gets.

Same here with me. Attention deficit I was okay with then Ambition :smh: when he signed with MMG I had an initial reaction of, "no!"

But I will take a listen.

I feel you with da attention deficit album tho. I feel like that was his best album in terms of content and overall substance. Lately I can attest to not feeling so of his stuff he puts out and I feel like a lot of it comes from him just being on mmg. I feel like if he would of stay with Jay-Z and rock nation he would be better off. If he would of signed with rod nation and let them be his management and record label he would be some where around cole in appreciation and respect in the hip hop community

I know he's probably fuming especially with all of the acclaim that Kendrick is getting I think his whole move to MMG tainted him a bit and alienated his fanbase.

Y'all ****** crazy, Wale got me hyped because of Festivus, so I know he's about to bring it this time around. Truthfully, except for the Gifted, Wale has always delivered, tho never as well as he did on More About Nothing. Hopefully by this being the Album about Nothing, he'll recreate that magic.
 
I like the songs I heard so far .. it's more throwback Wale and not trying to semi fit in with MMG Wale
 
He hasn't missed with the "...About Nothing" series. Sucks that this album is coming at this point in his career because it seems like people have made their minds up about him already. I get it, but I'm still looking forward to this because I actually haven't.

Chain Music was nice too.

Focused and Slight Work were straight trash. Two of the worst songs he's made. White Linen was completely forgetable too.

Overall above average CD tho.
