The first 3 singles have been really underwhelming and borderline bad.

Hope the rest of the album is like TAAN.

Trying to hold off on the singles so I can just peep the entire album. Hoping it's in the same vein as that Folarin Like joint he dropped a few months ago over the Nas is Like beat.

After hearing that Summer mixtape last yr, i went back to not caring bout Wale. Son really needs Seinfeld to help him make great music

That Fashion week song is trash but maybe Wale is trying to get some of that G-Eazy fan base.

Folarin still my guy and I always wanna see him win. Much like a blinkin a blinkin I've kinda been holding off on the singles in hopes that I can hear the album all the way through.

Good **** that he pushed it up a week. Excited for this joint. Point Me in the right direction :nerd:

I know its only been out for an hour but i listened the whole way through and…

I am being objective as possible. I went in with 0 expectation, I respect Wale and I respect his talent.

But objectively speaking, just a huge MEH for this album.

*sigh*. I'll just leave it at meh. |I

Before I listen, do you dislike any of wale albums?

Yeah, this joint is pretty "meh". Sounds like a bunch of throwaway tracks slapped together.

For the record, I liked most of his previous albums, especially TAAN.

A way different Wale than I am used to (I am in DMV, so I am more of "Paint a Picture," "Hate is the New Love," "Studio 43" Wale) but I think this is a decent album. Nice switch up of styles with some decent tracks.

Shine better than The Gifted

Yeah if you really looking for RAP you won't like this album. This album has more island(Nigerian in this case) joints on it than more life  kinda follows the same pattern. A lot of singing in the beginning then towards half/end he raps a bit more.

My dude really gave up on hip hop  :smh:

With all that said this album is straight imo. Wale out here making naija jams [emoji]128293[/emoji][emoji]133660013043[/emoji]

Intro is flames!!!! Neeed More of that wale.

Man when the chorus dropped on that scarface rozay song :x :x this the song he been teasing for a year or so. FLAMES. I needed that one.

Anyways I think you gotta process this album a little different than his others. It's not similar to any wale album before. It's a lot of more singing type tracks. He's tryna find that popish Lane imo. So I gotta run it back a few more times to really rate it

maybe I'm listening to something completely different or I've had one too many good times in the DMV, but this joint is that deal. 2017 has been a great year for music.

I remember when duke posted that snippet on IG over a year ago and just praying they would polish that joint.

I'm not sure what to make of it yet. It's more of a world album and a album he wanted to make.

It's not like his other albums. That's good in a way, because you have to listen to it.

He said people don't care about lyrics, so it might have affected the music he made. I wonder what the album would have been like after Kendrick and Joey's.
