Will wait to see details about battery life. Early reports are that it sucks and won't last a full day. If that's the case, no thanks, Jeff.

What does it do differently that the iPhone can't?
not a damb thing

... oh wait. you can use it as a bird feeder though. I know whenever I light up my fuel band, birds flock "like oooh what is that? does it count your steps? you work out? I could use a good workout

watch tells you to stand up if you haven't moved in a long time. it can measure you're heart rate i believe. it has haptic feedback so in theory someone can communicate with you through that in a morse code like way. it's interesting but idk if its interesting enough to rationalize owning.

my sister got me a pebble watch for christmas.

it has not been worn since the first week of January I'm afraid.

Why do we think we need to have more and more LED screens to the point we wear one all the time? Don't we get enough information from our phones/tablets/laptops/TV?

im gonna laugh when everyone in here saying its dumb buys one in the next 3 years.

Similar to how most bashed the iPad as an oversized iPhone. Yet I bet 60% of everyone here has some sort of tablet.

I wouldn't buy one because if I buy a watch it'll be a classic one more for fashion than anything else. I can't see buying a product that I will need to replace every 2-3 years
