Do you keep the boxes of things you buy?

Simple question in title. I still have the box to my 32" tv in the back of my closet. I still have the box to a space heater i bought. The box for the double din in my car, for my chromecast, macbook, shoes cell phone. Is this hoarding? Should I throw some of these away? I guess I'm keeping them for when i move into my own place it would make packing easier. Comments welcomed

I keep boxes for stuff just in case I need to return or send out the item for repair/warranty. After a year, I usually just throw the box away (except for expensive stuff like TVs and PS4).

I do now.
Apparently you get an extra cord with your Beats in the box, but i wouldn't know that because I threw the ******* box away as soon as I opened them

I actually threw out a bunch of boxes I saved for electronics not to long ago. All they were doing was taking up closet space. Its not like you can't get boxes and packing supplies when you move.

Man I'm horrible with that. I don't know why.

I have my PS4, Beats, iPhones, and my PS3 box.

Not really

Some of my shoes, and strangely every one of my video game consoles.

I noticed I've done that ever since I bought my Dreamcast. I store important papers and documents in them.

I'm about to check my box when I get to my parents house  but yeah I keep all my boxes.

Really? Since when? The headphone cord?

I've had to buy 2 replacements in the past year.

Just bought another pair of solo 2s not too long ago...and i tossed the box as soon i opened em. I'm sure all it had was that damn zipper case

I don't keep boxes. It's stupid to keep boxes. I do though, rip off the barcode if it was a serial number for the specific product and also I always snap a picture of my receipts.

If it's a TV, or something that may stop working I keep the box until the return period is done just in case.

Bought a TV from best buy and it literally stopped working a day after return period ended. Had I not had the box I would have been fu.....

Literally argued with them so hard, I said check the serial this is the actual TV blah blah I didn't try to swap it or anything it really works. Then they said well ok if you have the box which I doubt.

I then walked out and saw the guy smile, and then his smile faded when I came back with the box three minutes later.

I do, mostly expensive electronics tho.
Idk why, it's just a habit for me.
I still have the box for my ps3 that I got years ago with eveything inside smh

Depends. I still got the box to my PS4, laptop, cellphone. Hell I still got the box for my PS2 (with a PS1 in it ). Dunno what happened to the PS1 box.

My cousin had the Studio's and he had an extra cord, idk how it goes for Solo's

all the time... i feel like when i move or if im going to return it i need the box so i just keep it... but at the end of the day i just end up hoarding it for no reason

For my kicks, yes. I hold on to boxes for some stuff but I eventually throw them out after a while.
