Racist Fraternity at the University of Oklahoma caught on tape.

I saw this last night but didn't feel like posting it.

I'm not surprised tho. Lol at whoever recorded/released the og vid. The goofy cat at the end can't even deny it, son has a very distinct look. Smh dude was looking so proud and convicted too.

Funny how chanting in a large group brings out unsavory remarks.

I know first hand how misogynistic and lewd black frat chants can be, i wonder if feminist groups would protest publicly.

Damn, president boren nipped that in the bud QUICK. Son was probably still in his pajamas typing that. He knows what problems that situation could bring along and he wasn't trying to be on some Donald sterling steez.
 
Deflect? What are you talking about? I'm simply saying that the chants in the op and the chants I mentioned can both be seen as offensive.

If anything, we're on the same page.

I'm a recent alumnus from here and still live close to campus. Pretty much facebook is flooded with this topic. Action has already been taken by the great D.Bo about an hr ago.

Effective immediately, all ties and affiliations between this University and the local SAE chapter are hereby severed. I direct that the house be closed and that members will remove their personal belongings from the house by midnight tomorrow. Those needing to make special arrangements for possessions shall contact the Dean of Students.

All of us will redouble our efforts to create the strongest sense of family and community. We vow that we will be an example to the entire country of how to deal with this issue. There must be zero tolerance for racism everywhere in our nation.

Will this dean go so far as expelling these students? Get rid of them I say. Send an absolute clear message if he feels that passionately about it...

get rid of them and give their names and faces to the public so the racist label sticks with them for the rest of their lives

getting rid of the frat does nothing, a new one will take its place

all racist white frats have one or two minority members to "prove" that they're not racist.

I'm not sure if it made statewide/national news, but when I was at UCSB, some racist frat boys started yelling racial slurs and beat the @!!@ out of two Vietnamese students who just happened to be walking past their house. Of course, the frat spoke up and talked about how they embrace diversity, when in all their frat pictures there was ONE token Asian dude :lol:

Frats need a percentage of minorities like they need a certain cumulative gpa, and student service learning hrs to opperate

I knew an idiot like that at LSU. Dude changed his name and everything because he wanted to be in a white frat so bad. All he got was rejected though.

I'm confused about comments like these.

It seems as if people that say **** like this think that it's OK and that we should just shrug it off and ignore.

Problem is...I NEVER hear these comments brought up when the target group is anything other than black.

If this story was about gay bashing....somehow I don't think anyone would have came in and said "Gay bashing stil exists? End Sarcasm".

I could care less what boy scout songs they sing. Its their political/ financial/ capital power when they are future lawyers judges and business owners that I cant stand.

Also im sick and tired of these "protests" with all due respect to MLK, dude was passive. Malcolm X and Marcus Garvey had it right.

Ucla chapter of sae is known for racism too. So makes you think. Are they really about that life as a whole fraternity. I've witnessed at least two racist acts at parties at sae.
