I'm confused about comments like these.
It seems as if people that say **** like this think that it's OK and that we should just shrug it off and ignore.
Problem is...I NEVER hear these comments brought up when the target group is anything other than black.
If this story was about gay bashing....somehow I don't think anyone would have came in and said "Gay bashing stil exists? End Sarcasm".
They have Asian and Hispanic Frats??
Excuse my ignorance I went to college in Georgia from 2002-2007 so Im sure much has changed..... plus im assuming those frats must be predominately on the west coast?

I actually kind of like this tbh.. I hate the way I feel like im tip-toeing on glass when im in class or surrounded by white people in a social atmosphere..
Am I the only one who thinks its weird how fraternities are so finely segregated. Everyone just plays along with it too. Like you got the hispanic fraternities, the asian fraternities, the white fraternities, the black fraternities, etc.
And if you're actually not racially bias, then you have to actually let people know "this is a multicultural fraternity." I'm not saying it's wrong, but it was always just weird to me.
You'd have to ask yourself why there was a need to make black fraternities in the first place

Being around other educated black dudes you can still be yourself w/o feeling like Pikkon with the weighted clothing. Having to wear a mask all damn day drains you.
How often would a white person need to conform to a society of blacks to fit in, if at all, in a social or professional atmosphere? Reaching for the stars. What's funny is, if a white person wrote this he'd be called a closet racistI actually kind of like this tbh.. The world is a funny place.
thats only partially true..... that wasnt mlk initial sentiments, it took a meeting and talking with malcolm among a series of events before he had this mantra....Don't believe what they want you to believe pleigh boi...
Peep game.
Weeks... before he was killed? From his OWN mouth too. The **** they don't teach you in school.
"We're coming to get our CHECK!" MLK started talking about money and it was a wrap. That's the real freedom in this country. Don't forget it.

not knocking what you said but your post kinda suggest this was his thoughts from the get go
Racism will exist until this Earth is gone.Racisms still alive they just be concealing it
Not surprised at all. You go to any southern school and this **** is there. It wasn't that concealed at UF.
I'm actually glad it got out though, people can't continue to deny that race isn't a dire social issue after the past year or so. Have to keep throwing stuff in their faces to get them to wake up. Especially when the people that harbor these feelings are in positions of authority across all spectrums.
Why do you make it seem like it's mutually exclusive to southern schools?
Racism is EVERYWHERE, bruh.
