No.Not at all. I think what they did was attempted murder and it puts a certain way of thinking in the spotlight.

I can't wrap my head around why no one called the police or stepped in. Instead people are filming and cursing because they forgot their phone.
 
Yea I can say the same but one can take so many blows

The fight shouldn't have went on for that long before being broken up.

Exactly. They just watched.

I don't know if anyone heard the story of the girl raped at a football game in front of a crowd. I couldn't believe it when it happened but look at cases like this caught on camera.
 
I wouldn't step in until the chick was out either. Mess around and get in trouble for putting hands on a woman. I would have kind of stood on top of the girl and shove the chicks away.

Now that you say that, I could see a dude breaking it up and some saving dudes come in there protecting the other girls saying, "Whay are you hitting a girl" and then you end up fighting other people your damn self
 
Na I think I would have stepped in while before then regardless of getting a charge or not.

Word, which is why I would have scattered to get the best seats in the house. Enough is enough though. I'd step in once the chick is knocked out. The other person should know when to stop. You get them down and they're done fighting, you inflicted some damage and have bragging rights. What more do you want?

What I don't understand is how can you be proud of jumping someone? Like, "yea, me and 6 of my homies kicked your ***!" I'd feel stupid saying something like that or winning with any help.

I dont know if those animals were doin it for pride or braggin rights. i think they just wanted to beat that ***.
 
I know yall hate that I believe most things today are for social media notoriety, but I believe people get off of being able to show someone a video and being able to say, "Look at me doing x. y. z.

BROOKLYN — Police were questioning a 17-year-old high school girl Thursday in connection to a brutal beating caught on video at a Flatbush McDonalds, sources said.

The unnamed Erasmus High School student can be seen on cellphone camera footage shot at about 3 p.m. on March 9 kicking and stomping on the head of another teen girl as she lay curled up on the floor of the fast food chain at 943 Flatbush Avenue, near Snyder Avenue, sources said.

The stomping followed a wild melee in which a group of girls attacked the victim, repeatedly punching her as she returns a few blows of her own.

The teen police were questioning is seen loosing her shirt at one point during the brawl and stomping on the victim's head as an adult man tries to direct her away from the victim, sources said. The teen girl, who has not been charged, was arrested in February after stabbing her brother. She was charged with assault, attempted assault and harassment in that attack, sources said.

She is eventually pulled away and onlookers come to the victim's aid.

"Go get ice," someone screams.

"Make her lay down," shouts another.

Finally, onlookers pull the badly hurt girl from her assailants and prop her up on one of the restaurant's benches. She promptly slides off.

Another questions whether or not the girl is still alive.

"Yo I think she's dead," he says. "It's a murder."

The victim was uncooperative with police, sources said. They went to the nearby Erasmus High School and got the principal to come talk to the girl at the restaurant.

She eventually agreed to go to the hospital, but neither she or her mother would cooperate further with the police.

When the video surfaced, police returned to the school and identified the students with the help of administrators.

Also read somewhere that the victim actually started the whole thing. Went there with the intention of fighting and actually threw the first punch.

Whatever the case, I hope all the melee participants get charged--"victim" included.

Same. She may be in 9th grade and got beat down but if she's using this for a come-up, there's no point in feeling sorry. She won't even name the girls or press charges AFTER being kicked in the HEAD repeatedly.
