it's not about photo shopping lakes. It's about reserves not being available.

Not the first drought we've had and it won't be the last. 

At the end of the day, they've been doing this for the past 10 years when they implemented the watering schedule in Los Angeles.

It's all about money at the end of the day.

LAWDP is the ENRON of utilities.

I'm speaking from where I live. LADWP has been under investigation for almost a decade due to salaries and misappropriation of funds.

The utilities control legislation through lobbying. I'll continue to condition my hair and take long *** showers.

I live in Los Angeles too, but you're living in a bubble with that mindset. If we truly are about to get taxed for foolish waste, you're taking it with no Vaseline from LADWP my dude.

My water is running fine and dandy gets hot in 5 seconds. Till no water or orange chunks are coming out ima continue to waste water. This is not scaring me one bit. SF/Oakland/sac/SD/LA all these cities and close to it will never ever run out of water. Waste away fellas

Yeah LADWP sucks

But man some of yall are the biggest wasters in this state

I haven't washed my car in 3 months and I only water my lawn 2-3 times out of the week
Also I only take one shower a day, 10 mins max

Almonds.. Takes 4 liters of water to make 1 almond.. Almond orchards consume about 10% of the state of cali's water consumption each year...

Funny i just read this yesterday when i googled why are almonds so expensive..

I got a free lawn removal with drip irrigation and drought tolerant plants. I only wash my car when it goes to get serviced and that's on the dealership. I only flush for 2 (the wife hates me for that and usually follows me in and flushes anyway). We use our dishwasher when the sink is full, and only wash full loads in the washer. Where I draw the line is showers. 5 minutes too short for my big ***. I have long hair so I need to make sure I'm clean.

Even when reserves were high they were pushing conservation whilst adding taxes up the ***.
 
I eat blueberry almonds everyday... Hope nothing happens to the almonds..a gallon for one almond doesn't seem like alot of water...


I already cut back on water long ago. Stopped watering the lawn. Take cold showers. Wash the cars at the drive thru.
