Zoom vs Lunarlon?

depends on what kind sport do u play, i still prefer zoom cushion rather than lunar but if u just casual wearing it lunarlon is better (feels like walking on pillow)

Zoom is so superior to Lunarlon, it's not even a competition. Lunarlon is literally just foam with injected nitrate. Zoom has those responsive tensile fibers encased within the Air bag that is highly attuned to your feet. Nike is doing away with full-length and heel & forefoot units though and that is annoying. Way too many shoes with just forefoot or just heel Zoom for insane prices. Zoom BB and Zoom Elites with full-length Zoom for $100 is such a thing of the past unfortunately.

Lunarlon loses its bounce within a month of daily use. I have zoom units from 1996 that still bounce back - spiridons, zoom turf trainers, zoom flight 96. Not even close.

The full length zoom as the poster above mentioned is no joke. You can get a pair of Revis for less that $80 - fantastic cushioning.

This is like asking pizza or burgers.  There is no "better" here, only preference.  Do you want springy, responsive air or softer, but still responsive foam?

I prefer Zoom because it is more durable than Lunarlon in my opinion and typically provides greater impact protection.  But there are instances of zoom that are terrible as well, for instance the KD V Elite.

Now if you're talking strictly foams, than Lunarlon isn't even the best foam in my opinion.  Micro G owns it.

yeah I meant to ask which do you prefer but I can agree zoom is way more durable than Lunarlon had my lunar glides for a 2 weeks and they lost that cushy feel.

theres definitely a "better" tho lol

even if it is just based on your own opinion, the way the cushioning setups fatigue your legs can be quantified

If you play serious ball...

Zoom all day and it's not even close

Lunarlon has bounce?

Lol

For any impact sport...zoom. No question. Nike insults my intelligence by even offering lunarlon in a bball shoe.

are revis true to size :nerd:

Zoom all day, you can feel the ground with lunarlon, its just foam and it will wear out quickly.

The only advantages of Lunarlon is that it can go lower to the ground, won't pop and is very flexible.

Like others have said, depends on the situation.  I had to go and use Kobe IX lows to play ball in because the Lunarlon was forgiving for my legs due to my extra weight.  Tried to play with the Zoom Hyperrev 2015s but the impact was too much for my legs and I developed shin splints for the first time in my life.  Now that I've been slimming down, I can play in the Kobe X lows a couple days a week and I love the Zoom in those.
