Royalty Free Music "School Project"

I need a song for a school project, which my group will be entering in a competition.

The song needs to be royalty free. 

I want an interstellar style vibe, or futuristic soundtrack. 

However, all of the songs I have found that are royalty free sound cheap and cheesy. 

I was wondering if anyone knew any good artists or songs that will allow their song to be used for free or with credit.
