You can always mow lawns, wash cars, paint houses, save up Birthday money many ways to do it. But most importantly focus on school first grasshopper.

Like @airdhazzal said, keep it simple right now and focus on school and your grades. Education and knowledge won't crumble like some sneakers will. My first two summer jobs were working at restaurants, bussing tables. they're just shoes and will always be around so don't worry so much . I had four pairs of Jordans through high school and have no regrets about that. All the money I made from 14-19 went to having fun , girls , and my Jeep(grades,my own money and parents money). Having your own ride at 16/17 and getting into college is what I would set my eye on. IMO ....


Shout out to your parents for taking a stand against this whole fad. I've grown tired of waiting in lines with parents for raffles or seen parents standing in line for their kids on a FCFS.

The first job I had went towards my cell phone and car. That was all I really needed at 16. The good thing about J's is if you miss a pair they will retro again before you know it just like the Chicago 10's and Black Toe 1's . You have your whole life to collect shoes or figure out if it was just a passing fad which unfortunately none of us can relate to.

If your dad will give you a job then go ahead and be a busboy! Do it on the weekends so it doesn't get in the way of your classes
