She lost her vision, husband and then her son was murdered

I met this lady about 6 months ago and she has really changed my life. She made me realize that no matter how bad things get, there's always something to be thankful for. I honestly can't imagine all the things that she has gone through. Waking up one day not seeing anything is one of my biggest fears. Her husband thought it was too much to handle and left her (but eventually came back.) However, the worst thing that happened to her was when her son was stabbed over 20 times and the person who killed her son was set free. Knowing that she needed to push through and move on with her life, she regained faith and worked hard to become the first blind court interpreter. I decided that her story needs to be heard so I did a little interview for future generations to hear her story and hopefully we can turn her story into a motivational short film one day.

Thanks guys. I'll be telling her your kind words.

What's crazy is that when she lost her vision, her son was her best friend. He was the biggest reason why she kept going.

She told me this story "one time my son came home and he did something bad (i think bad grades) and so I stood there and scolded him for nearly ten minutes. I was so happy that he just sat there and absorbed everything that I had to say. I then found out I was talking to his backpack. He left ten minutes ago"

She is hilarious and that's what really inspired me the most. This lady has gone through everything and still laughs at her life
