Need advise for FNL return, or should I take the L?

Bought some shoes from FNL about 30 days ago.  Been sitting in my closet and realized I wasn't really feeling them the other day.  Went to return the shoes with my receipt, and the guy says they have been "worn" and points out some black spots on both shoes.  I can see what he's talking about but I know I didn't wear them obviously.  Didn't accept my return.  Should I go back tomorrow, or just take the L for $75?

Thoughts? Thanks Fam!

go to a different FNL if there's another one near you, but nah if you dont like the shoes and you never wore them, dont accept the L.

go to every FNL you can and try and get your money back or a store credit. point to the toe box and heel and show him the lack of creases.

The other closest one is about an hour away.  I guess I might have to make the trek this weekend.  Thanks fellas

If they really were unworn just go back within the time limit to return them and tell him to follow the company policy wrtten on the receipt.

If he gives you runaround then just call corporate and complain that the employee isn't following company policy.

Its principle here, dude is wasting your time playing games for no reason. If its a legit return, calling corporate is a better option then arguing with an unruly employee.

Should've bought them at Footlocker.

I would've taken them back if they truley looked unworn.

Yea I think I will try going back the same FNL tomorrow and if it's still the same person I will call corporate.  Because the shoes have no creases at all and I haven't worn them, I just hate confrontation but you guys are right it's about the principle!

trust me, once you mention corporate their tune changes quick if the return is legitimate.

some of these employees are shady, they'll make their own rules up to deny a return if they feel it will affect their sales numbers or their sales goal for the day.

a while back when i was on line to purchase some stuff at champs and some mother in front of me was denied a return and i overheard her saying how she just bought the stuff yesterday and it was unworn, she had a receipt and she purchased the same items elsewhere for less.  i told her to read the return policy on her receipt and if he wouldn't return the items then to call corporate and or his district manager.    dude took the return pissed off afterwards and stormed in the back and had another worker ring me up for my stuff

Back in the day I took back the air max 360s after running 7 miles in them. To get my funds up for the jordan Dmp pack.

I also took back 14 pairs of Halloween sb dunk lows LOL.. I thought I was about to make a killing on the 14 pair of TOUR YELLOW IV'S I had boughten... I was barely making anything after fees

This is why FTL and other places have that policy now no returns on limited release date product...Cuz ppl try to buy and sell and when they can't they run back to FTL
