Air Jordan 6 "Maroon" Holiday 2015

These are going to be way over hyped if they put nike air on these. These sucked back when it first released and sat on shelves and will suck when they release again. Just plain white shoes which i cant stand!
 
The Maroon VI is my all time favorite shoe. Ive been wanting it since 5th grade. It was funny, my cousin received Maroons for Christmas 1991, and I received Black/Infrareds. I loved the Black/Infrareds, but he wanted my shoes because they were black and red, and I wanted his because I loved white and maroon colorways. His foot was smaller than mine, so a trade wouldn't have worked, plus I don't think my parents would've appreciated that. My Black/Infrareds were stolen in summer of 1992 at the local swimming pool. Ive wanted Maroons ever since that Christmas.

Having said that, Im glad they are releasing them now. I know the leather will be a little better, and there is hope of Nike Air Coming back. Either way, they will be copped, though I definitely prefer Nike Air.
 
These aren't coming out. None of the reliable shoe sources have confirmed. Its all just here say at this point.

I ain't mad though, this is probably the most basic 6(OG and Retro) and I wouldnt even care if they put the Nike Air back. None for me :D
 
If they're coming out, it's about time, but I'm going to refrain from getting hype over speculation
 
Would def like to see these release. Nice simple CW n it'll go perfect wit ol school Phillies gear lol. Don't really care if it has Nike air on back or not because it won't be the same quality as the OG's anyway 
 
The more these are talked about the more they will become a cult classic like the Aqua 8's. Aqua 8's are nice but not worthy of being featured on Black Friday.

It's just funny that JB can bring back Nike logo in the insoles of the Hare 7 but not switch back the Jumpman
on the left shoe of AJ 11 to have it face forward again...
But at least they seem to redo the lace triangle of the 2015 retro 8.
Hope they redo the AJ 9 retros with the 1st plastic lace loops and make the Jumpman
face forward on the outsole (left shoe) too.
 
Kind of iffy about these. It doesn't give a person that type of feel such as the black and red version
 
I feel like these are going to be basic af like the sport blue 6s....Saw then in person when they dropped back last August and was like that's it??
 
Had to laugh at the dude a page back that said these sat when these released. Yea they sat because shoes didn't really sell the way they do as of late, because these came out in 1991 and haven't been retroed or released since. I'm in on these. These were the very first Jordans I had back when I was 5.
 
Yeah, I remember when these dropped they were one of the last colorways of the VI that year, and that was back when there were no retros. Whatever number Jordan you had was hot until the next Jordan came out. So if you had any VIs, as soon as the VIIs dropped, those VIs became your beaters or were strictly for playing ball. That was the Jordan cycle of life until they started doing retros.

These still got some burn but not quite as much as infrareds or Carmine's. Although I can't remember If these dropped before the Carmine's or not.

Def gonna try for a pair of these though. I always liked them.
 
I just thought it was funny dude came on here claiming these sat. 1991 was a different time than 2015

Was just watching a different world with ron johnson rocking these.

Man would be messed up if they got nike air on the back while the best 4 colorways of the vi got wack *** jumpman air :lol:

Yup which is pretty stupid cuz its just an insole and they took the time to do that. So most likely remastered og colorways will have nike air branding

Its the least they will do considering this remastered gimmick is bull as they still have problems with shoes being "remastered" as far as quality and materials

exactly the same for myself and everyone i knew back in the day.
