Earl Sweatshirt I Don't Like ****, I Don't Go Outside: An Album By Earl Sweatshirt March 23, 2015

It's hard to listen to anything but Kendrick right now.

Lol.... Yeah, I am aware. I need to learn to keep my mouth shut until I've given time to fully digest and listen to an album. But listening on my friends tower speaker setup really made this stand out, not to mention I was under the influence and was finally able to look and listen to it from a different point of view/more open minded.

Sidenote the Earl album is growing on me, cannot wait for the Earl/Vince show on Tuesday!

Don't think i finished this last night but it sounded good from what I heard. Does OF have some internal beef/riffs going on? :nerd:

This album was a let down :smh:

No tracks I really hate but there aint no tracks I really love either. Vince Staples verse >>>>>> the whole album

Gave this a one time listening, so far I really like Grief. I need to give it a few more spins before I have a real opinion on it.

DNA is ******* fire.

Haven't listened to the entire thing yet but really like the aforementioned track and Grief a lot off of a skim.

That song "Grief" is dope as ****, especially with the video. That song would make me fully listen to his album and I'd be terribly disappointed if none of the other tracks sounded like that

it kinda seems like the only reason why people feel this release is worse than Doris is because Earl did all of the production. He's growing into a producer, but you can't dispute, fam got a pen game like no other right now.

on some baby DOOM ****.

Saw the show last night, Earl has grown a lot as a performer. Show was really good. Vince signed the shirt I bought and gave me daps so that was dope too.

Go by yourself if you have to man. Once the show starts you'll have blast anyway.

And yeah, it was a small venue, and maybe half full, but no where near capacity. I was waiting for my friends to use the bathroom and Vince and his crew just popped up at the merch table with those shirts. It was dope. My friend said he saw him at a local bar monday night. Seemed like a chill dude. Some older white guy gave them a vinyl of his own music, VInce was like "yeah yeah man we'll play that on the bus." Knowing damn well they aren't gonna listen to it.

Then a kid came up to VInce and was like "Yo, you're my favorite 2nd favorite rapper out right now, you and Kanye!"

I was a little drunk and still waiting for Vince to sign my shirt, so I throw in "Damn bro, that's pretty a damn big compliment being listed right next to Kanye." :smokin

Cool night overall.

Bruh catch the show solo dolo if you have to. I went to the Yeezus tour by myself and I caught immaculate vibes that night and even met cool people around me.

Will have to listen to this album again, I thought it was solid on first spin. Shout out to vince staples, LBC stand up

Ive never went to a show alone. Idk if I'll feel comfortable doing it haha. I kinda want to but im not sure :/

Don't be so insecure. Get a few drinks in you you'll have a blast fam.

Idk about the crowds at Earl shows though lol.

Gotten give it more listens. I didn't like it at first but im starting to like it more. Found it interesting Earl believes if you're rapping you gotta have some braggadocio lyrics in it.

doris was great, and this is even better. ive been waiting for an album like this
