What's your game and strategy?

I have a few friends who go to Vegas regularly and swear it's easy money. I always tell them the house always win if they get greedy enough.

Just want to know how you cats, established entrepreneurs in the baked goods sector, are doing it. Some of them are deep into it with formulas and all on spreadsheets.

I've never been one to gamble on that scale because I fear it may become an addiction.

i have a buddy who goes there and basically does the double up method. bet x amount, if you lose double up. once he is up, he hands over his winnings/cards/cash. flies back a winner

gm of choice...sports betting

my advice is to bring someone with you that handles the profits and makes sure you dont blow it all

first time I played i won 400 the first night, ended up 200. The next 4 times I'd either win roughly $200 or lose $200

The past 3 times i've gambled i've lost $450, $100 and $100

Granted this is over 6 months time

I think you need to go with the mindset of having fun gambling and not being too upset about losing, the odds are against you

I'm still pissed though... :smh:

take profits as you play

so if you hit and double your money, take your initial investment off and play smart with the houses money and continually take some profits as you succeed.

What game do you do this with?

The guys I'm referring to has that fool proof mentality. Trying to turn 100 into 1,000 and that into 100,000.

I live in Vegas.....

Gambling was my primary income for my first 2.5 years of college.

I had a close call. I do not gamble anymore other than with friends as a social activity with a set amount of money.

The money is extremely easy.

It is difficult to walk away after a loss. Leaving with all that free money is its own drug.

Go in with a goal. Hit it and leave.

Sports betting is cool.

Video blackjack is cool too if you know how to space out a max bet here and there.
Roulette is my favorite game.

Craps is fun but dicey at times.

Also don't forget to ask for your free food or whatever from the pit boss if you play table games. If you gamble with a decent amount money make sure food and drink is paid for.

You've got to have the mindset that you're paying for the thrill and not playing for the bills. I'm nowhere near a big gambler but I can get very competitive and the spirit to win can takeover quickly,I can easily see how someone can get caught up. I played some scratch offs last night and came close to winning 500,that rush is insane. That's probably why rich cats like mj continue to gamble.

i haven't been to the casino in a while but usually with blackjack or roulette. thats essentially what i try to do with trading options if I'm using more size.

it just makes more sense to put some cash in your pocket and reduce risk as you play.

hell i did this with fan duel too. deposits 200 bucks into the account, spread it across a bunch of games, placed in all of them and won like 400, took my original 200 off and let it all ride. of course, i didn't make money on the last piece, but i didn't lose anything from the venture at all either.

The only time I gambled, I won but lost. It was years ago. I put $100 in and got $300. I don't even know what I was doing. I was amped because my dinner was going to be paid for and then some. I was pressured to go big and lost everything  Never tried again after that with the fear of getting hooked.

I don't know how some cats can be going into poker tournies for mad hours at a time. I'd die from being too still.

it's a simple formula:

pick a dollar amount you're willing to risk

if you make more than that dollar amount size down back to your risk and try and build that up again

if you lose, you breakeven and you move on with life

if you make money again, take some off and keep going

but never risk more than the original amount you were willing to risk.

I know a few who plays poker, they prefer it because you play against another player (usually those who are just there to play and aren't very good) instead of the house. It's definitely for the long haul though.

And Poker tournaments can be fun if you really like the game.

I play baccarat. Last time I played I turned 150 into 500 in about an hour. I Suggest if you've never played it to give it a try. It's pretty fun once you figure out what you're doing.

i live in CT

we have foxwoods and mohegan

i know 2 young dudes who LEGIT gamble for a living

one got banned from mohegan for counting cards

Roulette I do the sucker bet of picking black or red. Turned 20 into a hundred lol took awhile but I never loose in Vegas like my boys do

Roulette and i play nickles only i have a set of 5-6 numbers i play ever spin. You want to play a section on the wheel where the numbers are all together. $5 on a number to win $175

Also im a huge BJ fan but only Single Deck BJ. Hate playing at a table with randoms who dont know what the **** they are doing and **** the whole shoe up.

its been a few months since i gambled at a casino but i still been sport betting here and there

I only play the high limit slots and craps. Slots are the worst games to play at any casino but the odds are better on the high limit machines ($25 spins and up) won $2800 and $6500 last couple times I went. Most I've ever won playing craps is $700 but damn that game is so much fun. Wish they had real craps in CA.

good table is the key to blackjack

Played blackjack and was up $500 my friend had to take me out before i started getting too greedy. Advice: Bring a friend lol

I like the slots even tho I don't win often. I almost never bet max so most I win is 300 range and not that often. I go with a set amount to play with and sometimes it lasts longer than others. The other day I won 380 on my first 20 pulled it out at 322 and moved around for a while. Ended up coming out 100 ahead even tho my wife lost 80 lol

play poker, and black jack if you can count. Only two games where you have an element of control.

bankroll mngmt>>>>

I don't eem understand the fascination with roulette and other house games wherein the house has the edge.
